Diamond 5 is complete rng?

I've been playing league of legends rank for a while and I feel like its completely luck based at lower diamond. I get people who feed their minds off >.< If I get lucky I make it pass diamond 5 to diamond 4 but when I don't get lucky my teammates feed or flame each other and spam useless pings like complete idiots lol. Atm I feel like diamond elo is completely rng at the lower end. What are you guys thoughts on that. My kda I don't think its bad based on what teams I get. I generally think my mistakes are kinda out of my control just cause the enemy team is more fed and I'm completely powerless since I'm going even or get ganked under tower and my team doesn't respond. Playing adc and top as my roles. I might need to switch to jungler >.> and start learning to jungle to help my laners not lose as hard.
