Why is Ornn broken?

Just played a blind pick for the first time in a long time and went top lane vs an Ornn. What happened?... You can not go near him or he just cc oneshots you... When something is this badly balanced it just makes me wonder why I bother playing the game anymore.

I am a plat top lane main and only play ranked but due to queues being down went blindpick and was playing one of my main champions vs a silver Ornn who is banned in every single ranked game and he just roflstomped me with 0 counter-play legit contemplating just uninstalling. I played safe and poked him down but all he has to do is land a q, e onto you auto w auto and q again and guess what.. you just got oneshot with long range cc....................

I mean what is the point of investing so much time and effort into something when the people who make it obviously couldn't give 2 shits about balancing champions on a basic level.
