I'm a bit partial to Ahri since I use her so much but Her abilities need a rework because even at level 6 if you don't build Mana regen you can only cast Orb of Deception 10 times and this causes her to only lets her stay in lane for short periods of time. Her Passive would be better if you got mana back as well. Sorry if you dont agree with this and if this isn't very explanatory...
But they just recently drastically reduced Q mana cost! I think you need to tell your jungler to stop hogging the second blue buff before you build Athene's.
Ahri is strong and doesn't need a buff. She's much better than Kassadin, who does shit damage, has garbage waveclear, and limited utility.
well gating champions by mana use is a known mechanic, in this case you can use it 10 times in a row but in reality you shouldn't, you should save your skills and harass for when it counts. Remember that Ahri's Q has true damage and there should be a high cost for having such poke power.
If you're up against a champion that isn't as heavily mana gated as Ahri I don't think you should pick her or you should try to last hit only saving your full combo for when you manage to hit a charm
Ahri is fine, stop spamming Q. Only cast spells if you really shove the lane or are trying trade hard with the other guy.

but to pull off combos you need absurd mana so she has only burst potential... 
only helps early game and you need to build her burst if you want to get kills late game... or at least for me...
