Ranked Queue Dodging

Riot... Please can we get rid of these ridiculous queue dodging penalties. The time penalty I understand, but the loss of LP and a series match counting as a loss?

Let's paint a picture:

You're sitting there staring at your screen happily at the victory screen. You're 2/2 for that promotion to gold. You've been through great teams and ones that were troublesome, but you stuck it on through. You press that Play Again button, knowing that this will be the match that gets you that sweet promotion. You get into champion select, you are third pick, and all the over-powered champions at the time are being banned. Everything is going okay so far. The first pick says in the chat that they are going mid, that's their right, they is first pick after all. They lock in Ahri. You sit there patiently, watching as the enemy team lock in their champions and you watch the chat to see if the pick above you calls anything. Suddenly, they lock in Zed. "I'm going mid." says the second pick. "Wtf no im mid." replies the first pick. "mid mid mid mid mid mid mid." "go k------ll yourself nub" Your eyes hover over the X on the right corner of your screen. But you turn away, knowing that if you dodge the queue you will lose the promotion series you worked hours, days, weeks to achieve. So you hover over Ashe and lock her in. You see the chat bring up something new. "I can't support. top pref." says the last pick. "why are you playing ranked if you cant support? what u can place wards? bronze." says pick two. You cringe. Two already toxic players, but you press on. The forth pick locks in Talon jungle and the last pick locks in Darius. "ahri support never seen that before" pick two says. "im mid f--------t" The magic words. You hang your head and force yourself to dodge the queue. Another 2 more games to get that promotion back. Unless you have to dodge again and lose 3 more LP. That's probably another game to win.

I've had this happen to me a few times. We can't fix players, there will always be a rotten apple in the batch. Honestly, no amount of rewards is going to change a whole community. But we can fix this unfair penalty problem. If there is a way to dodge a queue and not lose LP or have a series match count as a loss, I'm all for it. Keep the time penalty, I understand removing that penalty would just have players just troll and dodge queues over and over again just to waste everyone's time.

I would rather sit for 5 minutes and know I won't be losing 20+ LP for a 20+ minute game that will probably just get me heated.

Riot please. Help me and the millions of other players I know are having the same problem.
