"soft reset" is bull. You blame bad luck and good luck with rising and falling to silver or platinum well, those same things are responsible for players rising or falling no matter who they are. Soft reset is crap, if a player is as pro as they appear, then it shouldnt matter hard or soft reset, they will rise. I know a guy who has only played 60 games and hes plat and Ive played with him and hes not any better than I am, but since I have been allocated to Bronze, I get stuck with leavers and afkers that ruin my rank.

Its time to start over Riot, and give everyone a fair shake, every season, at their luck and skill.

Hard reset = months of really horrible matchmaking quality. Really active players might get back to their true elo in a few weeks, but what about players who play a couple games a week? They're gonna take forever to get there, and until they do they are like ticking time bombs that will sabotage games for one team or the other.

"soft" resets are actually pretty big. More over, the reset allows you to get more LP per win than you are currently getting. Hence, if you play your cards right you could be well above your current league after the reset.

However, you should really be playing ranked games for fun, and you should look at them as slightly more competitive than casual normal games. I don't think anyone should care too much about their ranking if they're not making a living off of it.

okay explain this to me. I went 7 of 10 wins and guess where I landed? BRONZE 5! Soft reset doesnt account for growth as a player, and wiht all the leavers and trolls in Bronze I cant carry myself out of it. GG stupid game
