Finding My Main

Hey everyone, Oblivion Zero here; Silver 2. I would like to pick up and main a new champion, but I can't figure out what I want. In short, I would like you guys to pick a champion and role for me to start playing, and I'll main it. My playstyle is adaptable but there are some common themes. Whilst I do not mind playing passively I tend to be quite trade-heavy and tend to get aggressive against my opponent. Second is that I like a balance of damage and cc. And lastly, I can play whatever so you can choose whatever! As I said I'm quite adaptable, so I'll fit into whatever you give me! Find what you like in a champion and go from there. They all have strengths and weaknesses.

For example I love to play Vladimir for his damage and safety. Kennen for his AoE dmg and CC.

May I ask what role u prefer the most and I can give you some suggestions.

i think the most useful peice of data u can give is how good mechanically vs game knowledge wise.

for example.. i am very well away that my mechanics suck, in fact they have gotten worse as i am turning 30 this month. i cant right click to save my life.

what i do have is very good objective awareness, i can tell what and enemy should be doing in any given situation and i can infer even with no vision where they would be now that i have eliminated all areas we have vision of. its not perfect, an the more vision we have the easier it gets.

but what i am good at is predicting the enemy... outsmarting them, becuase i know my keyboard and click accuracy are so bad i need to outsmart my oppoent to win.

because of this i play skillshot champions Nidalee Morgana Blitzcrank Lux Warwick ( although ww isnt very skillshot heavy... if u miss your ulti... u look like an idiot)

i am horrible at kiting and sutter stepping.

so for recommendations.. fighure out how u play. are you mechanincs good? can u auto attack and kite will? if so then champs like adc or ranged top laners like Kennen would be good.

if u cant, then u can learn toward skillshots

from what i can see, most of those champions require good positioning beyond what _most_champions would need. Skarner used his spires, Poppy uses wall stun, Chogath is immobile and can very easily get caught out before he becomes a raid boss.

AurelionSol is the completely embodiment of this Veigar less so, but he has skillshots Jax ok well there was bound to be an exception

Sivir again her Q is extremely powerful Tristana has constant repositioning with her rocket jump Lux and Morgana again are single target skillshot champs. and morg even have to go in with her ulti Elise support. thats very unique.

as for recommendations based on that list

for mid i would say Ekko woudl very easily fit into that list and is the very first thing that came to me for jungle u may like Kindred because of how your marks work

u can try out my own main, Nidalee and even add me if u wish, and i can give u a tutorial on her, but im not sure she would be your thing becuase she is pretty similar to LeeSin , however very less mechanically intensive, and u so like Elise so she would be worth trying at least, i also play 3 of my other main champs, so its certainly possible u would enjoy her.

you can also try out Elise in the jungler seeing as u play her support anyways

as for adc Vayne come to mind as u like Poppy , and they have similar wall stun mechanics, and both are about positioning, Varus is also a adc i find the closest thing i can play becuase how he is mostly skilshots, but being ammile he does require positioning,, its a long shot, but i thought i would add it

for top? thats harder.. not many top laners fall into this list, i guess Fiora would? idk i have played top lane since season 4 when nidalee was a top laner. im not sure i can help u with picking a top lane champ.
