Runepage per champion

Why isn't there just 1 Runepage per champ? And if people would like some more general options, they would be able to buy extra rune pages (as people do now).

So basically:

Runepage for the selected champ
Extra runepage for another build, which I can adapt and shows at every champ.
Extra runepage for another build, which I can adapt and shows at every champ.
Extra runepage for another build, which I can adapt and shows at every champ.
Extra runepage for another build, which I can adapt and shows at every champ.
Preset runepage (Which you can hide)
Preset runepage (Which you can hide)
... (Which you can hide)

Because riot has to pretend they're being benevolent without actually giving you something.

i would be happy if i could eliminate even more unnecesary animations of the client to make the rune edition process even faster, half the time i already know when i pick a champion, exactly what run i will take from what tree, just like the old system masteries, most of your "options" arent real options, and riot continue to eliminate options from you, i use to take celestial body on sona when the enemy pick an engage heavy support on me, knowing i rather get survival than damage...and tank raka going for guardian before they increase the colddown heavily

i'm not exactly sure what you mean by this, per champion role I assume? I understand that riot doesn't just wanna give us free rune pages cuz they know they can make money off of it, but could they at least make an option so I can leave myself a note to change rune pages when i log in? Or possibly have a rune page set to a preference that, if i change it before a game, changes back when the game is over or when I log out. I often find that when I barely change a rune page, I don't remember or don't notice it when I start a game with a different character who I might want ultimate hat on instead of manaflow band or something like that. I'd just at least like to have some sort of system to remind me to change things because too many times I find myself jumping into the next game with a completely different keystone (same tree mind you) because I played an aram game that night before or something like that.

because that would take up a FUCK-TON of Storage space, and discourage people from buying rune pages

Sorry for necro but really, runepages should be per champ. It's extremly prohibitive in its current form when you are new, or back. You simply dont have the time to pick runes for a new champion, even if you look it up in the background. In normal none draft games you have 10 seconds, 10 seconds isnt enough to pick at random even.
