Dear shuniboy,
I honestly can't tell if you are trolling or not given your writing style combined with the fact the complaints seem to be mostly about easy-to-counter effects and lack of knowledge regarding the characters you are complaining about. Adding even more confusion into this is the fact that two of these champions were recently reworked for balance purposes while the other had been nerfed to make him more vulnerable. I'm going to recommend you go watch how these champions work/are played on YouTube. It is a good place to start while watching gameplay of the champions is another good idea ) so that you know how to counter them in the future. In the event you don't feel like seeking footage I'd be more than happy to give you a little education about these champions here.
is, according to some, a utility mage who does many things well while excelling at none while others think of him as a highly safe/defensive pick. I personally see him as the latter; able to easily stay sustained after purchasing
or
and specializing in zoning foes as he farms early game with his later-game specialty being the zoning of teams and poking. His main form of poke ( Q, Bouncing Bomb, his only TRUE poking skill ) was recently nerfed to make his laning phase and overall offensive power less effective thus putting him at more risk. There are two effective ways to counter him: Hit him with Hard CC/be better at poking or get in his face and burst him down. A champion like
has similar ranges but has ( arguably ) more CC which makes allows you to get in more damage after landing your first hit allowing you to send him back so you can farm. The other option is to take somebody like
or
who are capable of quickly getting to him and doing a lot of burst damage to ( and often times kill ) him before he can react.
is in a similar boat to Ziggs; his rework left him with more utility ( than Old Viktor, and I think he has more utility than Ziggs currently does ) and sustainable damage output. Things change from here however as he is a medium-ranged caster that easy to gank/get near in comparison to a Ziggs, Xerath or other long-range mages. When laning against new Viktor it is important to AVOID HIS LASER WHICH WILL HIT TWICE ( the second hit doing 40% of the damage of the initial beam ) UPON BEING UPGRADED because the upgrade causes the ground the laser touched to erupt with SUPER SCIENTIFIC EXPLOSIONS OF DOOM! BOOM!
In addition to this Viktor's laser is also able to scout bushes, over walls and INTO YOUR SOUL! The laser will often be used as a zoning and poking tool in combination with his Gravity Well and ultimate ability, similar to Ziggs and his kit. This also leaves him vulnerable to the same type of weaknesses Ziggs has; in Viktor's case with long-range poke against him being even more effective due to the fact his range limitations more restrictive than Zigg's.
is without a doubt the most interesting champion in the league. Rumor has it he once said "I don't always die while drinking Graggy Ice, but when I do I don't" while drinking a special brew given to him by
. This is because his ultimate ability functions like a giftable
on steroids restoring 200% AP + 600/850/1100 health to friend as they are downed. 98 AP suddenly becomes 196 Health and the best way to negate this is by baiting the ability onto a false target. Work with your team to make him think he is about to die so that he uses his ultimate to protect himself leaving his carry vulnerable.
Even more important than his ultimate are his bombs: five points in offensive masteries causes his bomb's damage to enable his entire team to do an extra 1% damage per on anybody the bombs injured. They are also super-effective zoning tools ( nobody who is bombed is going to walk into bomb range knowing a second bomb would stun them ) that scale with 90% of Zilean's AP. 100 AP means his bombs would do an extra 90 damage, 1000 AP means they would do an extra 900 and two bombs together would wreck your day. Thankfully this is Zilean's ONLY OFFENSIVE TOOL so it is simply a matter of avoiding being hit with a first or second bomb. If you think his bombs are bad now back in the day they locked onto a foe and could not be dodged or avoided and while that meant he couldn't use them to zone you were much more likely to be hit by two bombs at once.
As somebody who has played all three of these champions ( still playing Ziggs and Zilean even on this, the day of my daughter's wed- I mean my new account ) I can say I personally say that these champions are strong at what they do. I understand it can be frustrating to play against somebody who is good at exploiting their strengths and I hope you'll eventually learn how to more-effectively play against those players
Best regards,
Mr. Beane.
