WHY DOES IT PUT ME AGAINST HIGHER RANK PEOPLE

ive been in lots of matches recently where im going against people an entire precious metal rank above me or more. Im in silver and keep getting stuck against golds and sometimes platinums. these people are WAY better than me, i dont want to fight them !!! !!! !!!

do i need to drop to bronze to fight people in silver?

Nope. MMR is really weird and probably kinda broken. If you´re playing Normalgames, people with higher ranks don´t take it that seriously and don´t have their Gold/Platinum MMR like in their Solo/Duo Queue. Making them get matched with lower Tier players. Don´t be afraid though, enjoy it as long as you can. Maybe you can learn something from them. :3
