An idea to make riven a little less annoying

How about she only gets low cooldowns when she ults instead of the entire game? And maybe make her ult last longer or something.

Her base CDs are kind of hefty early on, it's just that since CDR items are so plentiful and easy to buy, she can abuse them fairly well.

Early on. Thats it. But tons of champs also have long cooldowns early on, so its hardly an argument that can be made for that. Her passive scaling should be lowered early, and make Q cd start after last Q or if she lets the current q timer elapse.

I mean, probably not, but that could be said of any change that doesnt make her blatently overpowered.

For a champion who is blantantly overpowered, she really doesn't have the numbers to showcase it. Her winrate is well below average at lower elo and doesn't average out until Plat and above. For all her mention of being too strong, there is a clear showcase that it really is a champion that does take skill as much as people don't want to admit it. She is REALLY good in a good player's hands, I'm not gonna act like she isn't, but shouldn't that be the milestone all champions good for, a VERY clear showcase of power between a good and bad player?

I mean, we do have the patch notes and numbers to showcase that to be true though, I can link them if you want.

...You realize the WEST is the only region that plays her the most, and houses the most mains, right? So why shouldn't she be balanced around that data instead of trying to hook in other regional data? It caused the very thing we saw: Her crushing toplaners as Riot missed the mark on nerfing her 2 times before finally reverting the initial changes she got. Id bet you her winrate would have been much higher if the bad Riven mains were not playing her during that time. It would be 58-62% winrate probably instead of 55%.

Actually, it's Brazil where said numbers also follow the same trend.

So then buff her, because at low elo, her numbers are well below the average until Gold if we are only going to use NA.

Again...yeah? That's kind of literally the point? She is only really that powerful in the hands of good players? Her numbers literally showcase that with the better the players are, the more her win rate goes up. Again, shouldn't that be how champions are?

I’m not a Riven main? I have literally played like two games of Riven ever and you can see that, I just have a stance of not ruining champions because of bias because people would rather QQ as opposed to learning why champions have certain things.

Why did aatrox get the nerf to his q to start his cd after the last cast and riven doesnt? Litteraly the same mechanic. How come sylas got his animation cancels but riven doesnt? Same concept as well. Riven has busted mechanics that was removed from other champions but she remains untouched because riot does have a biased to her.

You can't say they are being bias when the only reason you mention Sylas is because you personally like him and play him and have likely never played Riven, how is that not bias?

I'm mastery 5 with riven and 6 with sylas and aatrox. Aatrox doesnt move during his q's while riven has 4 dashes in her kit and 2 stuns

You are right, but in turn, he has three knock ups, and if you are going to include other parts of her kit, then he has four hard CC to Riven's 2.

Her weakness is negated by cdr. She litteraly rushes cdr components has 45 percent cdr and then just has dashes for days. Riven is busted. Shes so busted shes actually good into ranges matchups that melee champs would normally auto lose too.

Whether it's the same or not it really means nothing. Her stats do not show her to be the "blatantly broken" champion people claim her to be. She is a champion that requires skill and investment for you to do well with. Can she be frustrating to deal with when facing a really good riven player? Yeah, but I can also say the same for most other champions.

If she is as blatantly OP as people say she is then her stats would mirror those claims. They aren't. People just don't like playing a against a good riven and unless you completely demolish riven then those good rivers would still destroy you with her despite nerfs.

It's not like I ever said those champs aren't problematic.Just because i didn't complain about half of the league champs it doesn't mean that boards only complain about riven.

Then how in hell is she annoying, she's a straight up worse Jax/Renekton as far as top lane divers go, and she has a horrible laning phase against most juggernauts and even Shen.

Not at all. Loses hard against Renekton. Loses hard against Darius. Loses against Kled. Loses against Mordekaiser. Gets run down by Sett as soon as lv1. Loses against Garen.

Her only good match ups are Fiora, Irelia, Illaoi, and the tanks (and tanks are garbage against conqueror users so it's nothing unique to Riven)

God I am waiting for Morde nerfs since ages, he is ruling whatever he wants at top.
