How to win as an ADC with a disadvantageous comp?

Let's say for the purposes of discussion you have 0 tanks, vs a team with tons of burst damage and 2 tanks. Or not even that, just ANY situation where for whatever reason you are massively disadvantaged in a 5v5 teamfight just by virtue of composition. The enemy team pretty much gets to deathball a-move all day. As an ADC, is there anything you can do to salvage that situation? Idk if you can really split push as an ADC.............

As Trist... unlikely. Unless you guys could get picks and then force a fight or nab a tower. She's great at pushing. If the waves are pushing out before your team fights then at least the minions would stretch the game longer.

What part? QQ Will what's below work better then? I'm referring to catching the wave before it gets to your tower and then killing half of the next wave so yours is pushing out. The minions "being in the place the enemy wants them" after a fight is what loses most games. If they're about to hit their own towers, his team loses nothing since usually the enemy backs and resets the lanes.

No, there's nothing you can do to salvage that situation.

There are things the enemy team can do to throw the game, and you can watch for those, but if they play decently you can't win.

there is no reason why you cant be an adc and build.

this is a sub optimal "pure damage carry" build, but in that situation its what you need

you dont have crit for cheesing people down, but you gain survivability and you still put out like an adc should, in fact you'll notice you shred tanks much harder than you normally would. surviving 1v1s is more important in the late game than winning one, you being alive means you can still do something.

but on the other hand if you lose the highly volatile 1v1 between 2 carries you can throw the game or you are simply at the mercy of who got the first auto off first.

so once you live because you have bork/youmuu and the only thing stopping you is a full goon squad, you can live to fight another day and wait for a more favorable situation, completely unlike dieing for being out of position like normal.

i'd say try to cycle as a team and keep objective control. Trist nukes towers and has lots of damage. worst comes to worst ask your fighters/ supports to get a little beef/ midlaner get ROA.
