Will Riot ever release "old school" league of legends

What an idea it would be if Riot would be able to make old school servers as well as the new ones.

Lets say Riot continues developing the LoL client at the pace its going, but they add another client introducing mini-games (or something along the lines) such as: the Classic Summoners rift (before map, hp bar, item, ect.. update), URF, Domination, Ascension, One for all, Hexakill, Poro King, allowing players to play whichever map potentially earning; Blue and Orange Essence, summoner and character exp, as well as IP. Not only would new players get to experience the game as others did when LoL nearly first came out, but they could potentially boost overall players giving them more options. I am NOT comparing League of legends to Runescape here, but anyone that has heard of it has also heard of Runescape 2007. They released an older version of the game and there were more than 500K who not only played the game, but voted for the older version to come out. This could encourage new tournaments, new Old school 5v5 and 3v3 teams, and plenty other possibilities. Don't make the older version your main focus, but allow players to vote for what can and could be released (older champion updates, Items, map shrubs)

SO, lets make a poll where we can get players to vote for Riot to release older versions! If there are enough of us we can hopefully get a chance!

I just want them they release the game from season2 or 3 client, pay to play.... I can pay even 50 euros for it.

They just need to add OLD SCHOOL LEAGUE as a RGM and only have the original 40 champs before any of their changes, the original map set up, all the old items that are long gone and we'd be set XD

But they would also have to rebuild all of that... from the ground up.

Nop, i'm sorry but it's impossible.

it would overshadow the live like how it happened with WoW and they had to shut down the vanilla server

Impossible from a technical standpoint, and not likely to interest many people.

Too many champions with new mechanics have been introduced to the game that there would be absolutely no sense of balance. Many of the original champions have undergone entire remakes since the games inception with more on the way including Yorick and assassins. Items that were considered too game breaking or unpopular have also been removed. New items have replaced some or have simply been added to the game. Even ARAM, a game mode that was hardly ever touched by balance updates has recently undergone massive changes.

League is not what it was all those years ago and cannot revert to that state.
