Removal of the cast time on Lux's W?

Lux's W just doesn't feel worth using to stop damage on yourself when running (only worth using when weaving autos and spells since the cast time doesn't matter) because the shield is so much smaller now and it stops your movement for to long. Its actually noob bait because using it when running away will most likely make you take more damage because of the delay on it.

Lux isn't weak right now but this would be more of a QoL buff and I don't believe it will make her really any stronger it will just make it more fun to use and less clunky. I think its important to do changes that will make champions feel better to play.

What does everyone else think?

What if it was just a reduction in the W cast time? or do you all think she is perfectly fine as is?

I feel like it's a decent enough trade off. Either you risk the shield, strategically stun/slow the enemy to shield safely, or decide not to. No cast time would be a bit broken IMO.

But she can simply bind whoever is chasing her and shield that way.

Zero cast time should be used sparingly.

1: No animation for it to make the switch 2: Lux is already pretty simplistic.. why does she need to be more simplistic Lol? 3: "noob bait" what's next, removing lee sindrome?

Personally I would just prefer that the "projectile" was faster going out and coming back.
