Hello guys, why is better build lethality or magic pen vs enemy without armor? Is not better easily build ad or ap?

Some champions may not have as good of AP ratios, or very very good base damage.

For example, an ability will say "200(+0.2) AP" meaning it will do 200 damage without any items, and for every 100 ap you do get, it only adds 20 extra damage (0.2).

Penetration works on the basis that you can increase the total damage dealt by ignore the target's magic resist. Because building AP does not really help this ability, just building penetration will help to increase the damage a bit more.

The reason lethality and magic pen are effective is because of the way resistances are calculated. by getting Penetration, you are ignoring those resistances instead of merly building more of a stat that would get mitigated by said resistance.
