Project Yi needs a nerf

It has become obvious to me that the new yi skin needs to be nerfed. I have been playing since s3 and still haven't become lvl 30, however this new skin has some code that makes the enemy really scared of you. Either that or it cloaks you I haven't been able to figure it out yet. The enemy team would constantly run past me late game or run away for no reason. I'm a pretty trash player and pulled off a penta. Rito plz nerf, project yi to OP. #yisypisy #yisyforpresident #projectyizy

In B5, yes. But same can be said for just about any champ.

Playing this guy in high elo on the other hand, is only reserved for OCDs, fanboys and masochists.

Lol, you think I'm bronze 5. That's the team I'm in that you looked at. Which is new, so of course it's in bronze.

I'm unranked right now(with around a 1.3k MMR for some reason and no for some reason op.gg wont find it. You have to go look at a past games to find it.) cause I don't really give a rats ass about ranked atm.

I simply used "B5" to refer to low elo bracket as a whole, and not specifically picking on anyone in general. I am not one of those who has their LoLKing ready all the time when they surf forums.

Sorry if that may come across as an offense. I was simply saying that while Yi can be easy to understand, he isn't really easy to play as when you're up against competent players.

try playing Yi in plat. It is incredibly hard and you have to abuse every mechanic that Yi offers, including very fast ward->Q jump to golems/wolves/blue/red, Q to reset tower aggro, Q to dodge Caitlyn ult, W as an autoattack reset+block all in 1 and proper jungle pathing.

I'm fully aware of what Yi can do(I watch cowsep daily). I know how to Alphadodge, I know when the right time to use W to prevent death or as an AA reset. It really didn't take long for me to learn these. But every time I play him I get bored. I've been playing him since AP YI as well.

Watching is different than doing. It is very hard to actually pull these mechanics off. Then you have strategy: what are Yi's powerspikes and what is his win condition? Yi isn't amazing when everyone is 6 slotted, so there's a point where you need to end the game ASAP or you'll start falling off.
