In the past year I've only ever opened one hextech gem. Are they supposed to be this rare? I've been wanting that Hextech Ali skin forever. It just feels impossible to obtain because of the low probability of getting the gems. What do you guys think.
I get that's the wow factor of having the hextech skins but the only people I've seen with the skins are high elo players. They play everyday so they get way more chests than the average player.

I get that they're super rare but when it costs 10 gemstones to get anything from the store its gonna take a while of farming and buying chests if you really want to spend money on it. All I'm saying is, sure maybe they're rare and that's fine, but do they really have to cost 10 gemstones to get one skin?
Also do you know if there's a place on the website to check the prices of everything in the hextech shop.

I only have 1 Hextech skin after 1-2 years and that was from me purchasing chests. The skins (unfortunately) are marketed towards 'whales', or people who spend tons of money. It's supposed to be a super exclusive reward.
Edit: the way I worded this (^) kinda sounds like I was trying to gloat. I'm not, just saying it still takes a long ass time lol
If you have a Gemstone, go to your Hextech Crafting inventory and click on it, you can see each skin/ward/item and how much it costs from there. You can also check the Wiki right here:
