Flowers showing on summoner's rift??? Is this a teaser for the new flower mage?

Has anyone else noticed flowers on the ground in summoners rift? They look exactly like the ones Riot already teased for the "colorful new mage" champion except they were all red. I saw the flowers twice in random normal games. I also saw an indicator around me that looked new and had a flower motif. Next time I will try to take a screenshot but it's hard to when in game. This reminds me of what they did to tease kindred with the symbols in game.

It's probably related to them, yes. I mean, it's getting pretty close to when we should be getting a new champ/VGU, and given that the VGUs are all booked up and none near completion, it makes sense that this colorful mage is making their teasers on the Rift.

Riot has said that the ez vgu will come out before the next champ but they did say the next champ will come out this year.
