Suggestion for Matchmaking
Been trying to level this account recently, and I keep running into players that are queued with high-ELO friends playing as their level 30 accounts. This is frustrating because they're usually the only player on the map with runes/full masteries and it's such a significant advantage that playing against them is nearly futile. They'd snowball even if they weren't the most competent player on the map, which they usually are.
Instead of putting the level 30 player into a low-level queue because the low-level player is party leader or whatever, force the low-level player into a level 30 queue so that it's not such a massive advantage just to queue with a level 30 friend. Another way to say this is that the highest level player in the party should determine the bracket the party is queued into. It generally works like this for players at level 30, because I've queued with high gold-tier players before (I'm bronze) and ended up in a game full of gold/diamond tier players. I don't really have a problem with that because it's a skill gap as opposed to a gap in time invested providing an advantage.
Alternatively, scale down the runes/masteries of level 30 players queuing into low-level brackets (average level of non-30 players determines scale for level 30 players).
