this is the worst offender in a long list of unbalanced matches where the other team is always 20 or more MMR above us. Sometimes the matches are even, or we are slightly above them, but i've actually counted the matches and those account for about 40% collectively (where they are either even, or we're higher MMR). To make things worse, the formerly Diamond Janna here got last pick while i had to pick first WITH my main (and counter for Janna) banned by her. She picked Janna to counter my first, blind pick Alistar (i also pick janna against ali if she'd do okay against the rest of the enemy team).

Yea, it sucks. I am having similar experiences trying to push into gold. Like, enemy team gets plats and higher golds all the time and my team gets the silvers and gold 5s, I even had a bronze 2. You must be coming off of a good run, like I won 59 of my last 80. Riot matchmaking makes it almost impossible for supports to keep winning without taking a few losses here and there.

So if you loose a few the good news is that matchmaking might start giving you matches that are closer to being fair. Do your best because if you mess us a match or two that you could have won matchmaking might hand you a huge lose streak.

I had a bad run that lasted about 400 games so now I know matchmaking is real fucky.

that was back in feb.

but matchamking still stands, you can get players from a whole tier apart in your match and its just awful.

"but its ok, they have the same mmr"

(yi literally stomps all over my bot lane)

There is not enough players so their algorithm can't achieve proper balancing. Simple.
