GET RID OF THE GOD DAMN AWFUL NORMAL (BLIND PICK)

RIOT better implement Champion Select in place of Blind Pick on Normal..since Team Builder is now gone. IF you think Blind Pick is healthy then you are dead wrong, insta-lockers and people who ignored the roles that were already called are sky high. Or better yet just bring back Team Builder for the sake of limiting the amount of morons or trolls. There is report option AFTER the game but why the hell would I spend 30+ min of enduring the trolls just so I can report them? And don't even get me start it on the so-called "punishments" - if there are actually "serious" punishments [ex: IP ban AND/OR limited chat as in only allow the punished accounts to be only able to call "top, mid, adc, sup, or jg". Or if the trolls somehow play ranked then just disqualify participation in ranked games/deplete current LP (before punished) to 0 and make them start over], I think people would actually think twice about the consequences before they decide to become trolls or insta-lock in general.

Finally, ALLOW REPORT OPTION BEFORE THE MATCH START so if there is a troll/insta-locker, that person would get reported and those that dodged due to that certain person won't get the wait time penalty. P/S: There are flaming and trash talk in Team Builder but that can be dealt with mute function so not really a problem. And those that might wanna say, "If you want less trolls then play ranked," - NO, I play this game to have fun not to make money like the Pros so ranked games will be a thing from time to time, and I know there is Normal - (Draft mode) but if I play that mode, I feel that I better off go play ranked which I rarely do since i don't feel like playing competitive at all. And I do know the difference between off-meta and trolls so don't even bother to bring that thing into the discussion.

No I'm completely sane after having games with insta-lockers and duo ADC bot lanes that fought over cs then proceeded to f**k up the game. As of now you can report an account for a crap load of times about trolling or anything similar to that and nothing ever happens and believe it or not trolls + insta-lockers appear a lot in normal.

Insta locking isn't banable.

It's like the lowest offence on the totem pole.

No you may not. Instalocking isn't really against the rule, there is nothing in the game that says "type three letters, and your GARENTEED the role you want"

Yea it's not against the rule but if that happens and you dodge, you get wait time penalty and the insta-lockers (sometimes with troll champs for that role) walk away without being "punished". Insta-locking can be considered as ruining people's game play experience is it not?

Team builder sucked. Long queue times and the difference in skill level was rediculous. Only played it a few times and it's pretty much a land of little kids and those who wanted to pick pubstompers to boost their ego. .

Why complain about blind pick? Just don't play it.There's nothing wrong with normal draft when playing with friends breh. People down vote because they can't believe people actually still play/played teambuilder/blindpick...unless you're new to the game, only reason to play those modes lol

Wait so based on your opinion only new players should play Team Builder? I'm sure that Team Builder allows everybody to try off-meta stuff while doing the same thing in normal would get them flamed and all kind of hassles that go along with picking off-meta due the amount of monkeys we have (Monkeys see monkeys do, everything else is bad right?) I enjoy playing Team Builder but last I checked my mastery points for Jax, Yasuo, Zed, or most of the "pubstompers" you speak of is very low (around lvl 2s or so), which again proved that your statement regarding Team Builder as little land for keyboard warriors to booste their egos is not entirely valid. In fact, when playing Team Builder, I actually met with lots of people that also enjoy Team Builder for its simplicity and are well-mannered unlike the egotistical kids that you mention. I still remember picking Shen as jungle in Normal and got flamed at until I saved their asses

Mind you that Team Builder could easily solve the problem...or unless you are one of those who dissed TB...then nevermind. And do you even know that there are only 2 Normal, while only 1 is actually "normal" perse and the other is Ranked mode rip-off?

It's an actual normal game with a ban phase and pick phase, without being ranked. That's how the game is meant to be played. The games you play, without a ban phase and without 1st pick / counterpicks, is not an actual normal game and is not how the game is meant to be started normally.

I almost never run into instalockers in Blind Pick, maybe once every 50 games. Technically all Team Builder let you do was Instalock, as you couldn't change your pick to accommodate your team. If instalockers are on the rise then I can only assume it's the people displaced from Team Builder that are causing the problem.

Blind Pick is my go-to game mode, it's not like I don't play it frequently. Team Builder fanatics are always so quick to claim every game is full of instalockers and trolls, it's comedic.

Yet another assumption, mind you that before Team Builder was even implemented, I played nothing but Blind Pick which is way back then, and at that time there aren't as much trolls or insta-lockers as they are right now. 1 dodge = 5 min of wait time and there are times I've ran into 3 4 trolls back-to-back and the wait time penalty isn't even funny. I have more or less 2 hours of gaming after school and work and 3 4 dodges would make it close to a waste of 30 min when it's not even my fault. Well I do politely ask people with troll picks to play safe and they answered back with going 0/3 in the first 5 min...

No that's stupid,if you replace blind pick for team builder then the moment you play something off-meta you'll get kicked and forced to play something on meta or a champ you just don't like playing just because the host doesn't want an off-meta.

Eh I'm pretty sure the purpose of Team Builder is to allow people to try off-meta stuff in addition to what the current meta revolves around. There were times when you look at the team comp and laughed your ass off but it worked out quite well in the end. So off-meta doesn't necessarily mean it won't work all the time, it's just that it isn't well-known to most people since eh..."the pros didn't pick it so it probably doesn't work"

And I'm pretty sure there are "serious better win even if it isn't ranked" players who will kick you if you queue up something that seems "dumb" to them.

Just because you or me or tolerant doesn't mean everyone is. And with kicking power it corrupts people into kicking anything that isn't what they want for their team. Kinda like how atm I don't mind one assassin but I don't want an assassin jungle coupled with an assassin mid since it means weaker late game.

I would still go into a game and not complain but if I had kicking power I wouldn't let 2 assassins be on a team. I am tolerant but I and I know many more have and will abuse kicking if blind pick was removed and team builder replaced it.

It's just another sh*tty thing about being human sadly :/

I have called a position many times myself as the 1st person into the lobby and others just spam where they want to go, so the easiest thing to do is just fill makes it more interesting and you can let others argue over it. Now team builders gone I do miss it, bring it back as well as having blind.
