I'd like some tips for Solo Q

I keep getting matched in ranked with people who feed, play champions for the first time, play Annie ADC, or LeBlanc Jg. I've honestly screamed out loud in rage over league and I'm not afraid to admit it. This game means a lot to me and I've been trying for years. Would any solo players mind looking through my previous matches and giving me some pointers. I know I'm not a horrible player and maybe I'm just unlucky. But I hope there's something I can do to surpass my team and get out of Bronze because I can't seem to find a team that takes this game as serious as I do and actually wants to win.

Honestly, if you're deep in Bronze 5(I didn't look at your profile to check), it can be kind of difficult to make it to B4 and above, simply due to having such a ridiculously low MMR that the only people it matches you with are the 8 year olds that don't understand the game, and legit trolls(From what I've been told and observed. I guess I really don't have the personal experience to back it up). Most often this is caused by joining ranked right away at 30 before you have a good understanding of the game, and just bombing the first ~100ish games with a 30% winrate.

No idea if that's what happened to you, but my recommendation is to wait until the season resets and try again as bad as it sounds. At the start of the new season there's a "MMR reset". They're breaking ranked into two Queues next year, Solo/Duo.. And Dynamic(Similar to this year) from what I gather. I'm told that Dynamic uses this year's rank and gives a "Soft Reset" to your MMR(Same as usual in a new season) which loosely equalizes your MMR towards the average from what I understand. Basically, you'll end up placed back in Bronze most likely after your placements, but for your first 20ish games your LP gains/losses should be much higher than usual, to get you stabilized into the rank you should be at. If you should be higher, this is when you prove it. I like to play these games late at night(NA times) because I tend to find friendlier/less tilted players personally, but you do stand risk of that tired guy or whatever.

The new Solo/Duo queue is rumoured to have a Hard MMR reset, meaning EVERYONE is reset back to the same default MMR(Silver 4 I think?) and their provisionals decide from there. Same as the other, your first several games will have bigger gains and losses.

Ok thank you, I've been playing for a few years and honestly this is only the first year I've been really trying at ranked, I didn't realize how frustrating it could get haha

Hey man, realistically, if ALL you want to do is climb a little bit then yes, grabbing a friend to play with who you can trust to do good is statistically a really good tip. Removes one teammate from the possible "Troll Pool", and makes sure it's someone from the "At least gonna try" pool lol.

I know, it doesn't help you stay 100% Solo(Also a solo player typically, though I have duo'd recently.. Lotsa losses when I duo xD), but it can help you climb out of your current area if you have a large pool of trolls(I.E. Bronze 5)

Normally I wouldn't say just give up and wait for a new season, but it's got 3 days left in this one.. 2 days? I dunno. Other than just waiting, find a friend you can trust. If you like to jungle, find a solo lane friend(Midlane maybe), if you like botlane find another botlane friend, if you like a solo lane find a jungle friend. Duo with them and that's already two players on your team that you KNOW are going to perform, on average, forgetting the odd bad game or whatever. Roles I recommended are simply for synergy of working together with your duo.

^ This, the best solution to Solo-queue troubles is duo-queue.

I didn't look at what you've read because I am in a hurry, and dont have much time, sorry if already mentioned what I'm about to say.

Always look at what you can do better, as opposed to spending the entire duration of the match looking at what your teammates did wrong

Ask yourself what you did this game. What did you do well and what can you improve upon? Did I play a champion I don't usually play? A role? Am I too diversified or not enough? Did I make a bad play? Etc, etc...

I think the best thing a player can do is find a champion that works for them, that isn't completely out of the meta. Examples of bad pick (in the grand scheme of things (debatable yes)) would be the likes of aatrox, kalista, ivern, etc. Picking a champion that's well rounded and learning all the bells and whistles involved will go a long way. You play a lot of Malz, which is a pretty solid pick in the current state of the game which is good. Really pushing the boundaries with him mechanically and then using that with game sense (positioning, roaming, etc) will better allow you the opportunity to carry on your own.

You can't stop trolls, feeders, fill in the blank in solo queue. It's just a sad reality of the game. Across all elos you'll run into these types of players. What you can do, is control your play.
