Nerf vel koz, thats all I have to say. I have a game with Vel Koz today, and he just chunk me more than half health(about 7/10) with just e,q,w combo, and I got a god damn Spirit Visage to counter him. How is this fair when he got only 4 kills and almost 1 shot my fed mid lanner and adc, this is not fun riot, nerf Vel Koz please.

I know hes weak to a gap closing champion, but please just nerf or rework his passive, it too overpowered, its just like 4 armour pen(lethality) items for ap champion, and it doesn't even cost anything. just nerf him riot, make a better nerf next patch (example of to-nerf champ: Leblanc, Vel Koz, Hemidinger, Rengar) [zombie-brand-clap]

people often severely underestimate what a mage can do after getting some items, with or without kills, just with some farm

taking more than 50% of health with 3 skills doesn't sound as something special

Veigar Anivia Annie Ziggs Lux Zyra can all do what he's complaining about. I don't see very many threads on them. One could also argue that Vel'koz is THE most balanced champion in the game.

True, but heres the problem: Veigar: 1 shot is real, but only single target w,e,q,r combo. You have to be REALLY fed and have tons of stack in order to do so

Annie: Team fight monster, but need to be close enough to do so, have to either blow flash, ult from blind spot, or risk of getting target down.

Zigg: More like a ap marksman who deals damage before team fight and help chase down enemies or disengage.

Lux: 1 shot squishes but need good skillshot, reaction, and vision control

Zyra: Same with lux, but less damage and require more items.

Vel koz: Ult and all tanks ded, if enemy front line use ult on vel, it will leads to their backline getting exposed.

it's probably cause of his passive, that procs true damage, no amount of MR is going to save you from that.

More than half your health for his entire combo, and you lived. I don't see a problem here. Squishie champs get blown up by Vel Koz in no time, but thats true for pretty much all the mages. At least with Vel Koz, you can dodge his skillshots.

Vel can 1 shot with just w, q combo if landed right

Melt tanks with just ultimate.

Banshee, Visage, Mercural threads? A ton of health + mr + spellshield, there is no way Vel is blowing you up in 1 combo. Maybe if you stood still to tank the entire duration of his ult after he managed to proc his passive, you'd die.
