West and East Coast Server

**I know I might receive hate for this, but I fully respect the East Coast having better pings now, but I do think that Riot should have TWO servers in North America. What I mean by that is having a West Coast Server and an East Coast Server. This way, we can both be happy while playing and Riot no longer needs to improve further more. All we need is TWO servers and I understand if Riot can't do this. But I just want to spread my ideas for those who wants to know about. Thank you. **

Seems like I'm in the position now to tell west coast players exactly what they have been telling us for years.... 'Ping doens't make a difference at all!'

west coast got such a minor ping downgrade it doesnt make much sense. Also by adding another server your actually adding another line of communication which would cause a overall increase to latency. So over all its just a bad idea.

Honestly the better option if 2 servers was going to be a thing would be a northeast and southwest server. Would really help Canada and central american players. Would also help for all the south american players that play on NA servers.

Sorry but minor my ass riot has not helped any of the west coasters who are having routing problems and when you send in a ticket they just say they can't DO SHIT also minor is not 40 to 91...

2 servers causes an issue.

1: u have 2 seperate groups. peopel cant play with the other servers. 2: u get both able to play and randomly assigned a East or West server every match which causes randomness on if ur ping will be good or bad.

RIOT might do 1 possibly, but #2 will NEVER happen.

That's why you implement it like DOTA 2 system. You would log into NA, but choose if you want to get matched in NA east NA west or both

but that puts the issue of matchmaking system being abused.

it would lead to longer waits and/or possibly mismatched players(the latter could be abused if one side has more noobs)

I feel like having to wait a little longer for better performance would be worth it.
You wouldn't be able to abuse the system. Sometimes one team will just get worse players than the other. There is no way to influence this happening in your games.

#1: not everyone would thoguh as alot of people are impatient and 20-40ms isnt worth a longer wait period) #2: you cant stop people from all going on 1 side to troll a server to make the other better.

Honestly? I'm in Utah, and my ping dropped by about 20. That really makes me question any value of having a West server unless it's intended to serve 3 or 4 states.
