Azir, this Emperor needs to get back to lane!!!

Well I havent seen anyone played Azir in mid lane after a few months he was released. Then i wanted to know why, so i bought him about a week ago, and..... As a Emperor, this Azir needs to be cared about a little bit, eventhough he doesnt have any bugs (maybe some but it's ok) but the way to play him is horrible and here are some reasons why:

  • He only depends only his soldiers which is my most favorite thing about him, but the range that Azir could control his soldiers to attack (it's not the range of his Q,W,E but the range when he controls his soldiers to do basic attack) is pretty short, for more specific, he has to get way to close to the enemy to control his soldiers which is the huge disadvantage to him cuz he hasn't have so many HP, so fighting with Zed, Yasuo, or even some high burst damage AP champs like Ahri, Katarina or Veigar is impossible. And also that causes him has to stay so close in team fight too and always be the first target of the enemy.
  • OH about the time that he W (drop his troop) is terrible slow, it's about half a second (well if u heard that half a second is fast plz think again), so what i mean is if i wanted to escaped, they would catch me already. I always try to do the W-Q-E combo as fast as possible but the troop rises up too slow, so i always miss the Q to move the troop farther and the combo is just only W-E.... -_-''.

You've only been playing him for a week, I kind of doubt you've figured out all of his ins and outs right now.

His range is amazing, you just have to learn to work with it.

The W delay is just something you'll just have to get used to.

Same with the combo.

You're complaining about the champion's combo being slow, but in all honesty, I've never experienced his combo as "slow" except for the first two weeks of playing him. He just takes some getting used to! All of the things you're complaining about seem to just be beginner's problems, I suggest you get used to him.

I did play a few ranked games last and this season with him, and I do agree that Riot nerfed him too harshly on his last nerfs, but he'll be getting his buffs soon and I'll be playing him in ranked again.

But the fact that he wastes more than 100 mana for the W-Q but just only for his soldier to get to the enemy and give them a single basic attack and some damage of the Q. How nice...And when i want to make the soldier to do basic attack on them, i have to get way to close to them and they always jump into me when i do that, especially Yas, Katarina or Zed .I know that he gets stronger in late game cuz mana doesnt the important thing but in early game he is so much depend on jg, he needs to gank at every minutes.

Then that means you're wasting your Q. Considering they get in your face after you use your Q, that means they know your weaknesses in lane and you don't.

  1. His skill curve is near-vertical. Give it time.
  2. He just got the crap nerfed out of him. Buffs are coming on the PBE.

Riot to should add a circle around him to show the radius from where he can control them. This would make him alot easier to play. Like a faint gold circle that appears when he has a soldier out.
