51 to 49 why blue has the advantage

It's been said to me that the "bottom" blue has a slightly higher win ratio than the top "purple" team. I think the big advantage is dragon, but I haven't played much yet. I do think though, that perhaps a HUD relocation would help with some balance as well. Purple may tend to attack in a downward position, and I think that it may help balance the way commands are input as well as the view in and of itself; I've noticed that Blue can see enemies well before purple especially when they would battle lane. Anyways, that's just my thought on the little I've played this game.

Are you playing with the Camera locked?

the 2% discrepancy is not really a significant advantage. Especially when you are expected to play either side, and switching sides in the middle of a series. So you really can't even call it an Unfair advantage Either.

Blue and Red side, is like Black and white in chess. You cannot expect to pick up black, and play the exact same game that you would if you where playing white. Similar to league. Chess also has that same win disparity with the expectation that you can play both sides.

I think it has a lot to do with Dragon/Baron.

It might even have something to do with the other camps, as pro teams at least think it's optimal for junglers to start bottom and gank top first, however a lot of junglers in s4 want to start blue regardless of team and in s5 want to start gromp or krugs specifically. in this way though, I'd say red should have the advantage.

Finally, it might have to do with top Lane and bot Lane. The tri-Bush makes it easier to gank top red than top blue, and easier to gank bot blue than bot red. Since early ganks are typically top rather than bot (at least in the past) it would give blue a better chance at first blood on an early gank.

Even with camera unlocked though, I agree that vision is just more natural on blue side.
