questions like this are usually lost on the community. Any time they see a number go up "that's a buff" and any time it goes down "that's a nerf" which isn't the case for a lot of changes.
Considering I don't really build DFG on Ahri often, never really stopped play Kite Mage Ahri, I look at it as a buff. As for how useful the MS boost is I'll have to see for myself when it hits live.
The current changes are a buff to her in-combat mobility, while being a nerf to her assassin playstyle. That adds up to a somewhat neutral change, but it'll be hard to see just how impactful the mobility vs damage switch is on her.
Neither of them, it's a power shift from Assassin to Mage.
You will need to play her now in a different way, so if the balance team do their job well she should end with the same strengh :)
I'd say it's a fix since the mini-rework was cancer and made her unreliable and gimmicky. Raped bases and ratios, and then a damage amp on Charm to make up for the raped bases and ratios?
Hit charm, do normal damage.
Miss charm, do less damage than a support Soraka.
It's about time they changed her back to a real character instead of bad-design incarnate.
for people that know how to properly play a kiteing mage, it'S a buff, for people that seak a mobiles assasin, it is a nerf(LB is doing a better job here anyway)
