Is sona any good in the meta right now?
If not, what supports are the best to play right now

nami kind of outclasses sona right now, in just about every way
best support is Bard right now
i'm biased since i'm a sona "main" (i play her when i'm sup) but Sona needs lvl 16 and right now supports can't get lvl 16 this week in all my Sona games i never went to lvl 16, went to lvl 10,12, 14, and 15.
Additionally, a part of her kit needs her to have a shit ton of AP Her heal can work really well without AP, but her Q damage, her E movement speed, and her passive on W are garbage without AP. The 2 things that are the most visible is E and W passive. During her rework riot buffed her W passive AP ratio.........why didn't they made it scale with lvl instead? like from 25 to 25/35/45%. it only lasts 2 seconds and if you don't have AP it's 25% damage reduction FFS. Unlike her Nami and janna who are in the same class don't need AP to make work a part of their kit.
finally, her 3rd problem that i find is that her cresendo rank 1 cd is 140 seconds for literally no reason. i tried to find a reason and didn't manage to find one.
AP Sona... too good in current meta.
Best support depends on your team comp and their team comp. I end up playing a lot of Leona and Alistar into hard lanes because the team forgot a tank will probably be nice after laning phase.
That said, I haven't played Sona in months. In most of the matchups in which I could play her, I've ran with Annie instead. Nami is also a better alternative if you can reliably land your CC bubble (I'm lazy and don't want to work hard for the same results hence the Annie pick). If you just want Sona for poke reasons... Karma is much better at it since Sona isn't allowed to have massive free (non skill shot) damage.
Sona kind of suffers from the Jack of All Trades issue compounded with one of the easiest kits a mage could have in this game. She's not a bad pick, but she's not the best pick for any situation.
