Ranked is stupid

I did my promos in which i went 1-9 due and got put in bronze 3... during the promos i had 4 games with an afk support 3 games where the jungle didn't take smite or had a teemo support. only 3 games were fair loses. then after that i have tried vlimbing back up to Gold/silver but every other game I play has an afk in it or a complete troll, Today alone i have had 7 afk supports an afk top lane , a jungle leblanc, teemo and a mid volibear. i have dropped from silver 5 promos to almost being demoted back to bronze 3, can anyone tell me if this is a common occurence in ranked, if so anything like ritual i can do to fix this curse like getting on my knees for about 5 min with a riot employee for something... i would really like to climb without having every other game be trolled. the worst part is half those games i am jungle or adc and usally end up with a 3 kda and helping the other lanes when i can, so the team player is there as well as the skills to climb.
