So I am bronze I am bad at the game and I know 
is not op but in my eyes he is, I just don't know what to do against him he is tanky and kills me in three hits. To be clear I don't lane against him I play mostly mid champs like 
and so on. If someone in a higher rank can help me please do so because I know he's not used much up there so you must know he weakness or counters but he is spammed down here.
Build items like frozen heart to slow his attacks, Randuins for his crits, thornmail is great vs him
Unfortunately as a stat check champion you cannot outplay him. Due to his overloaded kit with a billion passives and steroids. You have to play around him with builds, positioning, warding, conserving summoners and otherwise not getting near him unless your team has crowd control or you have a large enough stat advantage.
xin zhao is strong in extended teamfights, if you don't have a mechanical champion you should just team vs him, eg; 2v1
and watch him cry.As a mastery 7 xin I can confidently say that synda is honestly the biggest pain to gank. Her q w is a bitch. Lux is the same with her obnoxious slow and snare. Honestly playing control or burst mages that can simply out damage him. If its early game he is super squishy, avoid any sustained fights with him as his w gives him fantastic damage and healing. I would have to say his real counter is probably a bigger stat check champion or rammus. Or jax. TLDR: He's squishy, don't fight for long. Stat checks counter him, as do rammus and jax.
Crowd Control abilities are your best friend. Snares, Stuns, Roots, Slows, Knock Ups, Knock Backs, etc. Any skill that can prevent him from getting in range of you for his Audacious Charge will shut him down. Similarly, dashes and disengage skills such as Syndra's W and Katarina's Shunpo give you a way to escape him. Save your escape skills until after he uses his dash.
