i need tips from people that are from like gold and above. how do you guys climb the ladder its basically impossible. i amm in bronze 4 i won 4 games in a row which gave me 0lp to 40. then i lost a game which got me to 17 lp like wtf. how do you get up because i want to be at silver at the end of the season. Also should i create a smurf and level to 30 because it seems really hard to get out of bronze.

Your main goal needs to not be climbing, and that is realistically the best advice anyone from any rank or division can tell you.

Play to improve and you will climb naturally

Play only to climb without the above, and you will not improve, and likely won't climb either.

You need to learn why you aren't improving and climbing before you can start doing either.

Just start to recognize in what situations you die the most or kill the most. What are YOUR strengths, not what strengths you think you should have because someone told you to have those strengths. What champs fit your playstyle, don't just play what some pro is playing or some "good at ranked" player said was "op".

This is pretty basic advice that not enough people realize is pretty much the biggest reason people do and do not climb. Sure there are more specific things to learn, like ward placement and better mechanical play (like cs'ing), but you don't need to be a a Diamond 1 to understand it, you just have to be willing to understand and do it.

:) Hope that helps a little?

I know it is a simple concept and easy to tell someone that, but if you work on your play first and climbing secondary, you'll improve much faster, and eventually you will climb faster.

You'll get there. Took me a while to learn that lesson, and I have improved a lot because of it. Now I'm working on counteracting my bad mmr from trying to climb before having the skill to back it up.

Well, you gained so little LP and lost so much because of how low your mmr was. Raise your mmr by winning games and keep it up and it will be easier to get out of bronze. The way I got out of bronze was by finding a champion for my 3 best lanes (Mid, Jg, adc) and mastering them. Don't play ranked if you're on tilt. Play to improve and be confident in your games. Good luck! :)

Don't pay attention to your LP/Promos and just play each game as its own. Helps prevent tilting. Just worry about keeping a positive W/L ratio and you will eventually climb. Just focus on your own gameplay and improving.
