Ryze is complete BS

He's such an absurd champion right now. if there was ever a champ that could be called a sustained burst mage then ryze would be it. Part of his dominance is the strength of mage items right now. For a supposedly squishy champ hes really hard to kill thanks to mage items. Morellos, roa give him a huge healthpool while items like seraphs give him a great defensive active and zhonyas is total bullshit to be completely honest. Then you throw in ravenous hunter and you suddenly have a champ that can heal almost as much as vlad, can kite amazingly well thanks to passive, is hard to kill if you do manage to get on top off him and has some of the best waveclear in the entire game. Riot needs to admit that they cant get this champion right and do something instead of their typical rework where they leave his kit entirely the same and just change the numbers.

Uhh, look at his base hp. He's up there with tanks and juggernauts.

He deals 475 per EQ, with a 120% ratio and 8% mana scaling.

Every 1.5 seconds.

Mage items could suck complete ass and ryze would still be broken, especially since he builds tank items too.

The whole game is an unmitigated disaster right now. Unless you like blowing people up in .25 seconds the game isn't for you anymore. Thank the Chinese and Riot's need to suckle at their teets.

Bad design. They made him so easy to play now. He did not use to be like this. His damage output just went to the roof. To be honest they will never balance this champion. I think they like the meme. I play Ryze often (and even though I am bad at him) I can see that he is very strong ATM.

Honestly if Old ryze would get a change on his shield and w, he would be fine. Removing a shield, but giving him a free acces to spam e on minions wasn't good idea. Also he can just wreck teamfights way easier if he just hits his E on enemy team. He had good wave clear already, he just had to click e twice. U can't even go in vs him that easily, because he clears the wave and goes back + his sustain due to runes is insane.

At least make his E spread to 2 targets only, or if the E mark hits only one target it crits like today, but if the mark spreads make it deal normal Q damage to all targets affected.

Ryze need a fundamental rework riot. Fuck u and your ego, rework him again his entire gameplay 100%and fuck his core identity. Hsi shitty identity is why he is broken. Change him compelitely cuz he is beyond broken or if that's too hard for u then revert that e change. U made him way easier now

For me with all these balance issiues they just should say "sorry we do not know how balance this champ,we are blocking him for rank games,Ryze will be possible to play only,normal/normal draft/aram"

Honestly I think that Ryze is the perfect champion. He can adapt to any game state with a huge possible amount of viable items, and is not required to build completely offensive. Like what other champion can say they can build item 3157 item 3135 item 3027 item 3116 item 3800 item 3151 item 3110 item 3001 item 3165 item 3102 any combination of these items, and as long as they have item 3040 item 3089 they will deal great damage. He doesn't have exactly 100-0 burst for most the game but he isn't like all the other burst mages where after you unload all your abilities you kinda just waddle around fights waiting for cooldowns. You kite ( with phase rush because your a gentleman and not a conqueror abuser ), position yourself, and drop more EQ bombs. Even if you completely fuck up your early game and go 0/3 in lane, you can still just pick up side waves and jungle easily and wait for your power spikes. I really think more champions should be like Ryze in a way. Where they don't have to build 100% damage to keep up with everyone else's oneshotting. So teamfights can actually play out and not just be oh looks like I instagibed your carry so I win.

Honestly, people dump on Akali for being a balance nightmare, but Ryze has gotten 6 reworks. Riot will never 'remove' a champion (except Aatrox, as his rework was pretty much a removal) because they're too prideful to admit their mistakes. Champions almost never see a second rework, but here's Ryze after his sixth. They don't wanna say he was a bad idea (a max mana scaling AP minigun was genius, of course, of course).

He'll either be broken or a dumpster fire, and Riot just has no clue how to treat him anymore. Of course, they can't do a complete revamp like the Aatrox rework either, because his old playstyle was too iconic when it was abused by the controversial '#1 player', Faker. Oh well.
