idea for the ''on my way'' ping

i just had an idea that might improve ganking and maybe create less toxic people, what if they add below the ping symbol on the ground a (xxxx away) (xxxx are meters/units/minions whatever they prefer) since i had some games people were really toxic because the jungler used the ''i am on my way'' ping and they thought he was there and they engaged but died because the jungler pinged but he was still on the way and not there yet.

I think someone, on a similar thread, proposed to change the color of the ping depending on how far away we are. But Yeah that'd be nice to indicate people that they should WAIT and NOT ENGAGE by saying we're on our way but still a bit too far.

Or people could just glance at their minimap like you're supposed to be doing anyway. The game doesnt have to do everything for us. People who see an OTW ping and immediately go in without thinking at all deserve the death tbh

yeah sure people could glance at the map but some people dont do it and we arent all perfect, we make mistakes + if it helps to make the community less toxic why not? its simple to add in and it could make alot of difference

Because it removes more skill from the game. What's next? A audible warning when you're in range to die in one combo from the enemy?

how is it skilled to look at the minimap? you litterly say its better to leave the community more toxic then add a quality of life change

Constantly glancing the minimap while not afking in lane is a skill that people pick up as they get better at the game.

i would say that its not really a skill but more common knowledge but people still forget about it and yes this is my opinion you can call it bulls%&$ but i honestly dont care if you call it that way since its my way of viewing it and btw yes you are saying that because you want dont want to add such a simple thing that could make the community better so yes you are saying that you dont want to remove toxicity out of the community i will agree that looking at the map that it requires skill ONLY when you put wards down and you get ganked and you saw it happen, but looking at the minimap where YOUR jungler is is in my opinion not skill based but just common knowledge and some people dont do it :)
