new ap jungle item question (interaction with other items)

The passive for the new ap jungle item is spell-blade, goes off of ad, and adds a splash damage. My question is how will this interact with both luden's echo and lichbane? I know that if you were to get trinity force and frozen gauntlets you would get the damage from trinity and the slow from gauntlets - is that how this will work? What I mean is if you get the new jungle item and lichbane, will the added damage AND splash damage get the +50% bonus from AP? If not see this being a huge draw to some jungle champions, and if it does being potentially overpowered for someone like diana.
