CLARIFICATION ----- COMPLAINING ABOUT Q TIMES/RANK OF TEAMMATES QD UP WITH ----- (ALSO NOT SURE WHAT TO CATEGORIZE THIS AS) Q'd up for ranked after getting off work (played warm-up game beforehand -but no one really cares about that). Im currently silver 1, currently trying to get to Gold so i can at least get end of season rewards. ANYWAYS - the q time took roughly 18 minutes (shouldnt be in lower elo...) first two games were dodged, and when the 3rd popped up, FINALLY. Good team fight comp, game was looking alright early game. Top got fb followed by mid getting a double, so everything was good. Then i realized my support was bronze. (lolnexus op) and everyone else in the game was in S5, i have no idea why im playing with s4 below. Last time i played ranked, i was facing g4/3s. ali started taking farm and telling me to go in randomly, flaming me for not going in, buying first item. Was basically trolling or BOOSTED to b3 ... Meanwhile jhin was all-chatting flaming bming, all that bs. Started getting flamed by team, yeah i didnt do so hot, but i froze bot lane for at least 15 minutes and lee kept camping top and trying to invade the 'balanced' yorick update. Irelia afked for 10 mintues starting at the 19 min mark.. I know lower elo is elo hell but come on. I dont know know why i was playing with these people. Super frustrating because i lost worked for lp. Im not that that good at this game, but getting matched with players like this is just kinda insulting.

first things first: All V divisions are elo hell of thier league. This is where fallout of said league gathers. Players too bad to climb yet too good to fall, players that stayed there forever, player that are toxic, angry and desperate because of this. Usually division V of league X is worse in skill than division I of league below X.

Now to your game: You dont specify what roles have you picked at start but this can be an issue. In low elo everyone wants to be solo carry of her/his team so position like mid/top/adc are highly prefered. Its funny but at the end of the season usually all quite good jungler and support mains are already in gold+. All that is left are those "solo carries" that need no team to win the game, guys that cant climb because they are toxic af, players that play casually or guys that were late for season. Also many players simply abandon ranked games after hitting gold V.

to make things clear: you are waiting long bc there are no supports -> the longer u wait the more game is willing to match u with players above on below your elo -> there is greater number of silver/bronze players below than gold players above -> u end up in team full of silver/bronze players with high chances of rager, flammer, afk and so on.

Dude, first things first: chill. You're Silver 1, it's still ELO hell. There will be bad players like this Ali. There will be overconfident people like this Lee and all the way to Master and Challenger you will still find toxic people like Jihn.

It's the nature of the game. You won't win all your games, be it your fault or your team's fault, you will lose some.

After about 5 minutes you are suppose to requeue. It is a glitch you should find a game quickly after that.
