Riot has yet again ruined Fiddlesticks

I have mained Fiddlesticks for 4 years now and with thousands of Fiddle games under my belt I have reached Diamond in the last two seasons so I know a thing or two on how to Fiddle, but over the years I've seen a consistent decline in Fiddlestick's ability to dominate as an effective jungler (as he was intended to). Within the last few years Fiddles has not been close to being a top (S) tier jungler, which is why it makes no sense to why he has received more nerfs than buffs in the last 5 years.

Fiddlestick's downfall began after replacing his passive of having magic penetration with what is now a slight movement speed boost for 1.5 seconds. This is by far one of the worst (if not the worst) passives you can give a champion. First, it now makes it much more difficult to damage MR tanks, and a 1.5 movement speed increase just doesn't offer anything remotely useful. Why not just add that movement speed as part of his ult and give Fiddle an actual useful passive.

Secondly, ever since Fiddle has been given attention as a "support" he has received much criticism over his dark wind damage (mainly by low-tier players), thus causing Riot to nerf him, yet again, knocking him out down to a C tier support and making him an F tier jungler- if that. His ganking ability has become more and more difficult to secure kills. Even in games where I play my best, it is still hard now to carry games (even if I'm fed). The damage in his toolkit just isn't there, and it just keeps getting worst. The latest nerf on domination runes has made it even more difficult to play the champion. It makes me want to uninstall the game and never play it again.

PLEASE STOP MAKING THINGS WORST RIOT.

Tbh he just needs a rework. He's a 1 dimensional point+click champ. He's either gonna be slightly below average or overbearing and unfun to deal with

He is dated and needs a rework plan and simple. League has grown apart from Fiddlesticks. Also being forced to build a item 3140 for a basic ability that is ranged and targeted is not acceptable in this game.

It actually takes timing and skill with him to time is combos to the best of their abilities. So the champ with 75% point and click spells and a 4th that is practically point and click, somehow has never been a point and click champion?

Im sure bronze may feel like hes a point and click character but once you reach higher elos you quickly see how inaccurate your statement is.

So his kit magically changes when i hit diamond? and I have a new champ to learn because everything is different? You point and click as much as an Annie so I don't see how he is any different.

yeah this post is 100% correct...

literally every non ulti spell he has is point and click, and his ulti is basically point and click

there are many arguments u can make about his kit.. it takes skill to set up properly, it relys on you enemy denying vision and u having good positioning and timing for your ulti.

but you cant say "its not point and click"

does ne1 even know of any other champ that has 3 point and click abilities?

there are certainly MUCH easier champions kits. but the point he made was "point and click", and yeah, there is literally no denying Fiddlesticks is "point and click"

all that being said... i cant adc or stutter step to save my life. and i personally find it harder to click directly a moving and dodging target on while moving at close range then i do to hit them with a long range skillshot, via prediction.

(which is why i play champs like Nidalee and other skillshot champs like Lux Morgana Blitzcrank and other mages like Syndra Orianna Ziggs

the onyl champion i play that really breaks that rule is Warwick . who's rework is basically a function redo of the old RekSai , who was gutted, and ruining everything i ever found fun ahout her kit

Ill give you this one. He is point and click. But He is not an op champion by any means who needs to be nerfed and shafted anymore than what he's already been given. The fact is, unskilled players do nothing but ask for help and cry when they cant handle a champion. Any death is because their opponent's champ is OP and needs to be nerfed. Im sick and tired of it and tired of seeing nerf after nerf after nerf. I've never seen so many dam nerfs in my life of playing video games. The game doesnt need to be easier, YOU need to get better, Period. Ppl spend hours practicing and perfecting champions all just so some silver player can come and cry and end up manipulating the games play for ppl who've actually put in time and dedication. Stop crying about EVERYTHING and become better you weak minded-millennials.

Babe, I haven't seen a "NERF FIDDLE!!!!!!!!" thread for years, you're again dictating how people behave. "these silvers DO! complain about fiddle". "They DO! ask for nerfs". I expect nothing less from low elo. All you guys do is complain how EVERY champ that you dont know how to combat against is OP and needs to be nerfed. And unfortunately Riot hears your cry for help and attempts to cater to your unskilled needs- when the reality is that you just simply need to get better at the game.

You're kind of just assuming I don't know how to deal with and complain about fiddlesticks when this is the first thread about fiddlesticks I've interacted with. As for every other champion I "don't like". Think I've done it once about graves? And far more champs than graves irritate me who I don't talk about. Because they don't irritate me because of game outcome, their kits are jst irritating

I mean, he's a fucking terrible jungle and his mid lane also sucks now with the e nerfs he's gotten that makes him do less damage to minions a while back, but fiddle is 10000% not a C tier support... He's a fucking amazing support and my go to for carrying most games.

If I am blind picking support I always go fiddle atm, he's an extremely safe pick and good into pretty much all match ups.

They really need to just make his damn clear not horrid for jungle again. I use to be a fiddle jungle main a few seasons back and the shits unplayable at the moment.

I agree, he is almost unplayable in jungle these days. He can barely sustain in 1v1 situations these days in the jungle.

I believe fiddle is one of the champions high on the list for rework. I don't see him very often, but typically when I do he's not nearly as bad as all that. I wouldn't call him broken (unless it's aram), but I wouldn't call him useless either.

IMO something would need to be done about his support ability in order to give him any buffs at all. He is absolutely terrible to deal with as a support and any buffs may cause more harm than good. I understand he needs to be more viable as a jg/mid, and hope to see something worked out.

There are so many things fiddle can do but complaining won't help, hes pretty high on the rework list so no need to complain right now.

Sorry they made your champion suck.

He was a lot of fun to play when I first started in like Season 3-4ish. It was the only jungle I could use without getting executed every camp. I've since stopped playing him all together because his damage is dragged out over like 7 seconds, where Kha, Rengar, Vi, Graves, Kayn...I mean the list goes on.... They all do the same amount of damage in less than 2 seconds.

They simply need to rework him. Make his drain an applied DoT and work from there. His drain damage might need to be lowered (I mean, possibly even not), but that would give him some mobility.

He was my favorite jungle but I hope I never have to use him again until they change him a little.

Or it could not just be true stealth and have wards or abilities that give sight like Lux's E or Swain's W penetrate it. If I'm not mistaken, it even trumps being marked for Truesight.

Riot feels like reworking Ezreal , Nunu , Kayle , and Morgana apparently for Season 8. Yet, no UI, Skin, or ability updates for Fiddlesticks The only "rework" Rito gave Fiddle was a slight change of his w and e and a useless Bio telling users that he's around for no reason,
Fiddle's kit is as old as Nunu's before-rework. Make O.G. FIddlesticks the jungler he was meant to be again.
