Tips for getting out of silver?

Alright, so I'm an AD main in Silver 3, and for the life of me I can't get out of it. My new years resolution was to get to gold or higher this season, but my teammates aren't the greatest most games, but I won't lie and say that I'm also not to blame, but for the last 4 games I've been getting teamed up with people who, basically just int and cost us the game. Anyhow, back on the topic, is there anything I can try to do to bring my team back from losing if the enemy team does get super fed? (Besides choosing a new role and hoping for the best)

Here's a thing a bunch of people don't look at enough: How's your front line look? If you don't have someone to take hits to the face for you or disrupt what the enemy is doing while they have one or more to stop you you're just not gonna win. If the enemy has blitz/braum and the likes of maokai/nautilus while all we got is zed... yi... etc. I'm gonna play a beefy champ like Sion or dodge. Even something like galio is bad if he's alone. He's a SECONDARY engager, he doesn't do so hot when he's banking on the full ad lee sin to go in first. This is a recurring problem. After I started looking at comps this way I've been able to tell who is favored to win 90% of the time if not more.

study the winrates and dodge champ select when u have a bad team. And u when you see the enemy team stack with op champs.

I study the winrate and abused it and went to gold 2 from silver 2 but now I stopped trying and went back to silver 4.

You can't rely on your teammates in silver, there are no team movements, no macroplay, just fighting 24-7. Play a simple but op champ. I might even say that ADC is not the best for climbing, because it's a duo lane, and you can't influence the game enough.

I suggest you try out jungling. It's way easier to do when you are low elo, Pick master yi or Warwick and literally solo carry. I got out plenty of times this way. Mid is also a good way to climb, simply because of the roam potential. Make your own plays, you be the one to create advantages for your team. After a few rough game, take a brake. You have to focus on yourself, and not your teammates, they will disappoint you most of the time.

Just farm well. That's all the matters.

Others said it, but here it is again for your ADC solo queue: -if you don't have 2 tanky team mates, dodge. -if you have all AD comp, dodge. -focus on CSing. -if you take the bot tower before your top, ask to swap -play simple ADCs that can carry hard: Trist and Jinx are my personal faves, but there are others.

Good luck.

All I can do is tell you how I got out of Silver.

I clicked on Blind Pick and never looked back.
