My thoughts on Dynamic Queue
It seems like I'm in the minority here, but from what I see, and what I, alone, have experienced is... nothing. I maybe once every 3-5 games I will notice a dynamic queue, of those 1 of maybe 15 will be with a group of 3 premades, and I have yet to be put in a 4-man premade (This is all in reference to ranked gameplay, I tend not to pay too much attention in normals). This queue being so "unfair" and "better premade wins" has had zero affect on my gameplay, climbing from gold 5 to plat 4 in this new season. So from my point of view, having the dynamic queue has done nothing negative for solo players (and I know a few other people who play plenty of solo, and their gripes are boosted animals and people who just suck, not too many complaints about premades). Maybe things are different down in the depths of bronze and silver, but I cannot speak to that from first hand experience.
As for premades being toxic towards their solo-queue buddy, that sort of stuff either bothers you, or it doesn't, just because there are two people being toxic all of a sudden it's gamebreaking, as opposed to a single person.. yeah... right. And for anyone saying "the 4-man premade all reported me and I got banned". This is false. I know, for a fact, riot does not ban on a single game basis, I have been toxic some games, I have gone AFK at the beginning of games for numerous reasons and never, NEVER, been banned.
The whole deal with the hextech crafting nonsense is kind of silly if you ask me. Sure, it's kinda BS that they give groups the ability to basically "share" their S scores, but in the end it's just skins and champions that you still unlock at a pretty slow rate, it's not an impact on the gameplay itself and has zero affect on the solo player because technically nothing has changed. The same can be made for IP party boosts, so what if you gain marginal more IP for being in a party, who really cares. It's not enough to seriously impact the game. "Oh no, they have one more of the 130 some champions than I do, THAT'S why I lost, riotpls" .... come on, that's not the reason for your losses, let's be honest.
tl:dr
premades are not the reason for your losses, maybe it's the reason for two people flaming at you instead of one, but either toxicity affects you or it doesn't, that's for you to decide. As for extra gains from hextech and IP, it's not a huge deal, you'll get over it, just grind the champs like you normally should. okay, I'm done![]()
