ap by far, has been since the ap item changes, it's just a lot burstier more like the assassin he is meant to be

AP is better Ad lost its DoT, the extra damage after ult. Its also lost most of its AD damage in general

Meanwhile AP got better scale on ult and W does more Magic then AD. Id is still strong but now u actually have to snowball yourself vs the op self snowballing from scale.

Originally (after the changes) He was much better as a bruiser, but Riot has been steadily buffing his AP and recently mega nerfed his AD because AD fizz no longer gets the damage amplification on his ult. So right now, I'd say AP Fizz is better.
