AR urf SUCKS... Just bring back what EVERYONE wants which is regular URF.

Alright. Its about time urf makes its way around again, but this is just stupid. I don't want to play aram, I don't like aram. I like getting to pick what I play. Why in the hell are we not allowed to even pick what we play? It isnt like this is a weekly game mode. There is a reason people want URF, because you have all kinds of ideas what would be FUN to play.

Like what is the reason this company is so fking against just releasing what players actually want to play? Most stubborn company I've ever seen.

Worried about certain champs being played everytime? Give us 5 bans per side, like other modes. Problem solved. Another problem I have ran into is that if one side gets better random champions than the other side, it makes the game HEAVILY swing in that teams favor, and feels really unfun to play against. Enemy team randomly got Hecarim, Janna, Diana, Kassasdin. Lets say mundo wasn't even enjoyable to play there.

so many fucking people want urf back i don't understand what the problem is. it's going to have op champions no matter what BUT 10 BANS WOULD BE MUCH MORE EFFICIENT THAN AR

There were more than 20 champs that you could see constantly. Riot said that 10 bans wouldn't fix the major issues the mode had.

I dont, but I played normal urf because at least I could try out my favorite champs there or do fun stuff with premades. Now its just rng get a good champ or have no fun lol

Yeah instead its better having to gamble to get a champ that you want to play.

Games are still decided by which team gets the most abusive champs (which is complete rng), except you cant just pick a champ you enjoy atleast even if you lose, if you get a bad champ or you have a bad team comp there is no reason to not dodge, because if they get a single or two abusive champs you're gonna sit in base for the whole 15 mins you get to "play".

This mode is complete trash.

Here's the problem with Urf. When Urf first came out, the game was very different. Damage didn't do as much damage as it does today. Damage dealing champions didn't have access to all of the defensive tools they do today. Tanks were stronger. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it was a different time and a different game philosophy. It's EXTREMELY different today. I don't think Urf was ever designed with today's current design philosophy in mind, and it really shows. Urf games are way more stompy than they were during 2014, and the game mode just has not aged well for how the game is today. I don't have nearly as much fun with it as I used to, and I can't imagine many others are either

It would take 20 bans to get rid of all the champs that are pretty much guaranteed to show up, and are not fun to play against. Sure, ARURF has a similar issue, but it's less likely that you'll run into a zed/syndra/brand/yasuo every game than it is in regular urf. I'd rather not worry about having to constantly ban champions that I know are going to be picked purely because they are OP in urf.

Sure there are champions that might be fun for you to play in URF, or you have a fun idea to do with a champion in URF, but unless you can be 100% sure that busted champions that are played in URF aren't going to be on the enemy team, you aren't going to have fun.

If you are certain that you'll have a good champ and NO ONE on the other team has a good champ then you aren't going to have fun with ARURF

The funny thing about that logic that "well your gonna run into something OP" is amplified considering if one team gets stacked with even 1-2 of you deem "super OP", then it literally makes the game unwinnable in some circumstances.

Also I think it is funny that RIOT felt the need to fix an issue...wait for it... That people were OK with. Why do you think in every comment section, you see more "BRING BACK URF" comments than you do comments that are even related to whatever RIOT is spewing for the day?

Because people go to playURF to get to play what they think would be FUN. Not some random RNGesus that says your either gonna have a ton of fun, or litterally be bored out of your mind for the entire game.

Players ACCEPT that sometimes, your going to run into something broken in urf. We live with it. It isnt a ranked queue, it isnt 100% tryhard. And hell, every now and again we like to play those opop chamions to!

At the very least, RIOT could just have a poll! Poll weather the majority of players would prefer URF, or AR URF be on the rotation. Go with which ever one gets majority vote. Oh thats right, they won't do that because they already know URF will win. And for some reason they REFUSE to release urf more than once or twice per year.

Like I get it, we want it to be hyped bla bla but ffs when are you just going to accept people want to play it, so you need to put it out there. We don't want that lame ass ascension or poro king that they release ALL THE TIME. Those game modes aren't even that popular.
