Jungle minion pings, Baron pings and Drake pings no longer working

Am I the only one experiencing a total break in this particular feature? Considering Riot's Stalinist approach to free-speech and Perma-banning everybody who dares speak in chat, even for 3 letters or "excuse me kind sir could you please ward drake?", this is game-breaking for me. Not being able to communicate objectives such as baron and drake timers to my team (because we all know you NEVER type or you'll get banned) is totally unacceptable. I already submitted a bug report, but in my opinion, if Riot spent half as much time fixing stuff like this, as they do releasing Pay-To-Win overpriced champs and dumb map accents, we wouldn't have to deal with this sort of stuff in live.

For Clarity: Pressing tab and clicking on icons used to provide timers or "Baron Alive" pings in chat and on the map. This no longer works. Are you experiencing this issue as well?

no its just you, pings on all of the above work perfectly for me as well as the duo i played with, and can confirm at least one other ally on my team last game

also you can type in chat all you want, if you got banned for it it 100% wasnt because you "nicely asked to ward drag"

Since you insist on deviating from topic, I was perma banned for saying, and I quote, "What does that stand for? Kool Yeah Super?"

You're delusional if you think riot doesn't ban for any and all words. Just look at all the pro players banned. Type it into google and you'll discover over 70% of Riots "Subscribers" are BANNED ACCOUNTS. Ask a plat player why there is only a handful of people to play with in their elo. Go make a new account and see how many smurfs are re-leveling because they were banned by the Stalinist PC Snowflake culture.

Back on topic, that bug is still active in the game I'm in right now and nobody on our team can ping so I don't know how you're able to.

No I am also experiencing this issue, which started after the latest patch. Just confirming this is not an isolated incident, and is probably patch related.
