Riot never said anything about "Rework" All along they have said "Relaunch" which implies very clearly that they intended to keep NOTHING of the old Sion, because, tbh, he was an absolute mess. New Sion is everything the old Sion should have been, and then some. He fits his intended role as a tank/fighter now (none of that magic Zombie garbage). His abilities work together cohesively (you're not left with two useless abilities if you build for the other two of them), and they fit way better thematically. P.S. He kep some of his old kit that fit through his W's active and passive, but both have been tuned significantly to work in the modern iteration of LoL.
