New Champ Select = 5x wait times

First time using new champ select I waited 7 minutes (as opposed to general :30-2:00), second game 10 minutes, and just now I waited 17 minutes. I am not experiencing anything close to a decrease in the wait times even when choosing supp and my primary. Anyone else?

P.S. posted this at first in wrong section, got notification that is was deleted and moved along with a link to my deleted post and a link to where it would be more appropriate. Kudos to Riot for that. I know it was a somewhat automated thing and probably happens on the reg but I appreciated it.

Used the new champ select three times or so. Got a match in the first ten seconds every time with my first pick of role. Then again it's normally Support/Fill with Bot/Support once, but my point is I'm not getting any such problems at all.
