Rek sai still viable?

I just bought rek sai and ive been stuggling quit a bit. I am new to lol and do not have a full rune page,I do however have the same mysteries as some of the pros but I just dont do any damage. Im not sure if this is to do with the past nerfs but I literally get around 3 kills per match. Did I buy a champ that is no longer viable? Would be a real shame as shes quit expensive, for me anyway.

Also do you guys know any good websites to watch pro replays? Thanks.

yeah if you want damage, play Vi. if you want to be a mindless knock up bot, play Rek'sai

or if you want to have fun and want a challenge, take a full page of scaling AD and try to one shot people with your E's true damage when building glass

You'll have to excuse my Ignorance but whst do you mean by knock up. Is rek sai suposed to be a tank?

Rek Sai is in a good spot if you go tank. By knock up he means the ability that hits people into the air. It's the best form of CC because it can't be broken and Rek Sai is very good at it.

There are easier champs to play, but with a good team you can do very well with her. She is great at diving but then you need the support of others to burn down a champion before taking too much turret damage.

If you watch the LCS (pros) right now, Rek Sai is used quite a bit. It gives you a good idea to watch and see how the doves currently work. But again, you need to be coordinated and it takes practice.

yea she is used in pro play as a tank and for her ability to be every where with her ult and tunnels...

once again a champ with a lot of utility being chosen for pro play

currently the best way to play rek sai is as a tank ... due to the fact she has to dive into everything and her damage has been nerfed... she isnt in the best of spots but recently got a slight buff...

She's still playable at the highest level of play but why would you want that when you could just as easily play Vi and accomplish the same, if not more?

Do you think its best to except the ip loss and move on to another hero

no ... this is the time to learn as much as you can...

play any champ you think is fun or you like...

I mean if you feel confident with her go ahead. My general rule of thumb is if you don't have many champions and you buy one go ahead and play that one till you can buy another. It allows you time to reconsider.

Reksai has always been viable in co ordianted teams but never as her intended role as a fighter only as a tank.

She is champion that has been destroyed on soloQ. Riot was nerfing her (yes its she), because she was kinda "pick or enemy will do" on LCS.
