Decline Kalista's Black Spear

I don't like really Kalista's overall mechanics, but that's a personal opinion.

However, the feeling i get when I am Fate's Called by a Kalista is literaly sea-sickness. The combinaison of window's woobling and the blury effect is for the least unpleasant. In fact it make me want to leave the game to stop this nausea happening again ... which is a little more that personal opinon. But the worst part is the lost of control. Using fate's call require a minimum of synchronisation between the two player, and the amount of frustration i get when i'm interupted mid combo is killing my fun.

Combine the two and you must understand why I try my best to avoid laning with a Kalista. Since i'm not realy fond of banning my teamate pick, i try to argue. But when a must go support and the adc picks a Kalista anyway, i have no choice but to dodge the queue entierly.

Tonight, i've been matched two time in a row with a Kalista player. Due to dodging penalty, i can't play for the evening.

There is an easy solution though : declining the black spear when Kalista use it on your champion. Why is this not the case ? Why the Kalista player has the power to inflict this on you and you don't get to decline ?

I'm not talking about droping the mechanic entierly, but she shouldn't be the only one to have a say in who gets Oathsworn'd. There is perfect sense in making a jungler the oathsworn both in ganking situation and engaging teamfights.

What I propose is that Kalista can only drop the Black Spear on the ground and someone must pick it up to be Oathsworn.

Not to be rude, but your sea sickness is such a terribly, minuscule minority case that it doesn't even need attention. Sorry.

It's a mechanic that makes her unique. Can it be abused or used to troll? Yes. So can trundle, Anivia, Bard, Tahm Kench, Ryze, etc.
