I'm not the greatest player, but I've been playing since beta. I would like to know if anyone is feeling the same thing as me? I've played about 20 rank games and lost 18. most of the lost games I have just doesn't make sense with the match up. is RIoT tilting me? let me know how you guys feel. (currently Silver5, but should be atleast gold or PLat).

hawj1 votesyea...haha..still cant figure these match up...i started a new account last year and its currently at level 30 and im at gold with that account. but my beta account i cant get it out of silver 5. these match up are weird. u can look at my rank game and it shows that im doing good, but the rest of my team just feed.

With all the feeding that goes on in ranked, it's not luck. That's just a normal day. Luck is when you actually win more than 3 in a row. Losing 18 is a bit much but it's not strange to lose up to 10 games in a row and it has very little to do with your own play. Sometimes you just get pure garbage for team mates and it can happen at all elos. 10+ game lose streaks don't happen that often but it does happen quite a few times.

Bronze ? Dude I'm Silver, I'm only in Bronze because of the rank reset and I chose not to climb out yet.
And besides that, my rank doesn't change the facts. The facts are you can get garbage teams back to back that you cannot win with. Have you ever played this game mate ?

He's Faker. In every human endeavour, there will be exceptional people that can defy the odds. It's a drop in the bucket compared to the general population of people that participate in this endeavour.
Also note that you said a 98% winrate. So he loses 2% of his games. He obviously couldn't carry those games. So you have contradicted yourself in that one paragraph. Quite a talent.

I don't know about other people but my method for getting out of Bronze is quite simple actually. I carry every game that is carriable. While I'm sure there are many ways to do this, I do this through champion knowledge. The champion I'm most knowledgeable about is Kayle since I've played more games on her than any other champion. I know how to win with her under a large variety of circumstances in Bronze and low Silver. Basically, I'm a one trick pony. I have a 60% win rate on her. I also have seem to have an affinity with Malphite support.
This season I started ranked by spamming Kayle and climbed from Bronze 5 to Bronze 2 within a few days, well on my way to Silver but the truth is, I only really care about ranked rewards and since the season has just begun, I realized that I don't need to be in any kind of hurry so I started playing a wide variety of roles and champions. Hell, I 1st timed a lot of champions this season in ranked and fed my ass off due to not knowing how to play them.
Point is, I'm not serious about climbing right now. I just wanna play a bunch of different champions, maybe widen my experience. If I were serious, I'd stick to Kayle as my main, with a handful of back-ups(Leona, Malphite support, Varus AD carry, Garen, Nasus top, Azir mid) and play ONLY those since they are champions I'm most comfortable with.
You may not believe me but that's not the point. The point is I and I alone know what I can do. Up to you whether you believe that or not. I don't even know why I bothered to explain all this since this topic has nothing to do with rank. Maybe one day I'll learn to stop posting on these boards since everyone has such a narrow minded focus on people's rank especially in topics that have nothing to do with that. It's really quite ridiculous and somewhat childish.

No worries and I have never heard of an 18 game loss streak. Seems like you should start to duo, even going solo I don't think I've had more than 3-4 losses in a row. I have noticed a lot of people who don't know how to lane lately, best of luck to you.
