How do I play new champs with other live players? I don't want to first time him in ranked, every time I que for normal draft, some tryhard bans him. And blind pick is just a fuckfest. Someone will either steal the lane, duo the lane with me and take cs, or just straight up troll. WTF do I do? And for those of you who are wondering, yes, I'm mad ;)
DrCyanide2 votesBlind Pick. You're literally more than twice as likely to get the new champion in Blind Pick than in any Draft based queue (one chance an ally picked them, one chance for the enemy picking them, one chance that they were banned).
Blind Pick's honestly better than Draft right now. Very few instalockers, very few people fighting over roles, and queue times are actually reasonable.

Reason why after Jhin and Kindred, i learned a viable lesson that carried me to not care about buying Illaoi, Tailyah, Aurelion Sol and Kled: "Don't fuss about playing the new ones while its still fresh.", There is always a good chance the champion would get a nearly immediate hot'fix or patch to hash out its powerful potential that usually hasn't been explored completely in PBE, Especially when you got people playing around with the champion itself and they stumble upon powerful itemization kits that can turn into its meta'build till Riot is forced to patch it or let the champion freely become even more scummie then a Yasuo who can shoot tornado with every Q and has R on no cool down.
It even applies on games like Maple'story where the game just loves to chunk out a new class every few months, even though its way too similar or pratically a clone of a existing class except with ridiculously better mechanics. People flock to the new thing, spend a lot on it, only to find out later it becomes utterly trash and some even regret spending real money for them. Typical Buy'bait maneuvers, once the nerf patch comes out.
Hell i literally met someone who got Kled after opening 3 mystery champion shards during my standard first win of the day, bot match. Literally saving them a whooping 2200 IP, Even with essence requirement, that is still some awesome luck to pull the newest champion. Reason i'd go to the point where unless you own over half or the entire champion roster, its better to not burn all your IP or even your RP wrecklessly like a pigeon when you can get it for even less if you wait a bit, especially for the traffic rush to get the things to settle down.
If you really want to just play him go into a bot game mode or something, maybe even custom game if you want to get really stupid.
