Hello everyone, I just recently got Amumu( I've been playing this game for a long time, but never considered getting him).
Anyways, can Amumu be played as a top lane champ? Either going AP or full tank?
Can he also be played as a support either in the Jungle of Bot lane?
What runes would be ideal on this champ?

Don't listen to the nonsense people will feed you about breaking the meta. Play him only as a jungler, his strengths shine as a jungler and honestly he's blatantly overpowered right now as most tanks (except those that were dumpstered like Sej) are since the MR buffs.
You can get away building him almost any way, but to err on the side of caution for those who don't know how to deal with every scenario... build tanky. If you want some AP build Rylai's and after some other tank items you can throw in a Liandry's if the game drags on long enough. Yes with a Rylai's and his tears it works.
For runes:
I've seen him played successfully as a top laner one time by one guy. I don't recall anything except that he started with three Doran's rings. Which makes sense since Amumu has pretty vicious sustained mana costs.
you can probably play him any lane and do ok, and build honestly depends on your teams needs and who you're laning against, but there's no doubt he's strong in jungle.
