I have chosen my primary role as jungle and my secondary as support. I like both roles and have no problem with either. I do have a problem when I have gone 33 games now and gotten jungle 1 time. That's 3% of the time getting a primary role. I know there are a lot of other people playing the game and making choices, but that is ridiculous because my secondary choice is not chosen by many so I get penalized for it?
I'd recommend putting a role other than support as your secondary. There's just not a big enough pool of support players to keep up with the rest. Those of us that put support as primary have less than a second wait time 95% of the time because of it.
I think the blame is on the players more than Riot's flawless coding and their history to be perfect. No one really wants to be be support, everyone wants to be a carry or be able to kill someone by being able to build damage. I mean, I'm a support main (support/fill respectively) and even I get annoyed after playing support about 99% of the time. A lot of hate is usually aimed at the support, if not the jungler, and the rewards are usually less than most roles because a lot of players usually don't notice that supports ARE very important in games, especially at elos below Plat.
And in most cases I've experienced, anything great I did is immediately rewarded to ADCs or anyone else that comes to gank and kill the enemies; rare cases of "great job support" or "op support" because usually it's others getting the kills and supports saving asses or making plays. However, if ADCs fuck up or anyone else, it's usually the support's fault in low elos because we can't seem to accept the fact that we suck and maybe, just maybe, we suck. "gg supp didnt ward river" when ADCs don't even use (sometimes they don't even buy) trinkets to help ward the river around 5mins into the game.
Unless there's a change in rewarding the Support role, we can actually expect those that use the Support or Fill options to be supports almost every game. I'm just throwing numbers over here since I usually read that almost everyone experienced like 10minute queues in non-support roles while I get like 1-5second queues. I think there's like 25 out of 100 players will select ADCs, 25 out of 100 players select Mid, 25 out of 100 players select top, 24 out of 100 players select jungle and 1 out of 100 players select support (ignoring fill because that's usually support). Almost every time I land in champ select lobby, there's 1-2 players complaining about the long queue time if I'm a support. I get 1-5 seconds wait time then I'll have to say I'm ready or be thrown out of queue, not enough time to even go take a piss.
TL;DR I blame players more than Riot for terrible ratio of Non-support to Support roles, forcing anyone who has Fill or Support in either Primary or Secondary roles to be auto locked into a Support role.

2 out of 97 now. Favorite quote "What do you care, it's not like it's ranked." That ladies and gentlemen is how I got demoted. Literally, I wish I could post chat logs, told my adc not to push lane or they are going to gank us nonstop and eat us. It was a buffet.

Word of advice for jungle, when it is 3 of you deep bot enemy jungle and 2 of us mid pushing, it is not a good idea to run into the enemy jungle where I just placed a ward and you could see 2 of them coming at you and engage...then blame the 2 mid for not being there...after you said split push.
2 out of 99 now. Feeders gotta feed brah. Also...don't play a champ for the first time in a ranked game unless you are challenger or master level...k thanks the management. That moment you realize you went from over 60% winrate to 50% in 2 days because people throw games.
3 out of 100 and second disconnect in a row...this game is starting to suck because when I do get the chance to play what I want the top lane feeds and we have a dc...So 3% of the time I get my primary pick because I like to pick jungle main and support secondary. Huge indictment on riot for the current state of supports as people don't want to play them. Gonna take a few days off again as the numerous dc's and feeders take their toll.
3 out of 101. Mid loses both turrets and is 0/4 12 minutes in and i'm getting screamed at because I wouldn't initiate a 3v5.

4 out of 103 now. Go 4/1...end up 5/3 and lose because the quinn top lane goes 1/8, AND doesn't change his build to become tankier or have more life at least to counter. Can Rito make an if you are getting your @$$ whipped recommend page?

5 out of 106. Dear Vayne, if you can't avoid getting shot in the face with braum's shield blast like a hooker at a gloryhole you shouldn't be blaming your support because he can only heal you so much and stun so much once you let them start the engagement.

5 out of 109...but someone traded me for jungle. And the mid was TOXIC AF. Pushed to turret, getting ganked requesting ganks. Saying I'm doing nothing as I just got done stealing enemy red and ganking top lane. Proceeds to harrass me whole game as I am ganking and trying to gank. Then proceeds to start killing my large minions in the jungle and leaving the small ones. Then proceeds to follow me and try to steal minions as I am doing them, then feeds enemy team and throws game. Do yourself a favor kid, get a hug from your daddy.
5 out of 110 now. Dear Vayne, it is not smart to try to 1v2 a Naut/Ashe combo. Just sayin.
5 out of 111 now. Dear Tryndamere, I know a lot of people tell others to quit the game, in your case it's wholeheartedly true. When a Tryndamere can't spin through a wall, it's time to go back to candy crush and hope there is an easy enough level for you. I am convinced you pee your pants because you don't know how to use a door to the bathroom.

5 out of 112 now. It is awesome to find an adc who knows that sometimes it takes a little patience and a 1st back to get some gear in order to do trade with enemy team. Not every combo is good to go right out the box effectively. This goes for recognizing enemy jungle and their ganking power and not pushing a lane to turret exposing you both.
6 out of 113 now. Uhoh...may get to 10% primary choice at this rate.
6 out of 114 now. Lane Pressure. If there are heavy ganks in any lane with 3 and 4 and even 5 members of their team, the other lanes NEED to put pressure on the turret. If you aren't, be prepared to be steamrolled by enemy team because you are playing WAY too passive.
6 out of 115 now. Taric is a lot of fun...but needs some fundamental changes to his kit to work.

7 out of 128 now. So...if you are bot lane with vayne in an even match up against their bot, and look at the score 6 minutes in and see it is 0-8 you kinda know how the game is gonna go. At 20 minutes if the score is 3-21 and you don't surrender I am going to assume you like to feed.

Then proclaim to the rest of the team that I am feeding, to let you know you pinged the adc...that means go. Probably should go back to competetive ipad gaming.
7 out of 132 now. Dear Ezreal, if you are building blue build, please understand that the power spike takes longer than other adc's. So starting at 5 minutes complaining about me standing there healing you, stunning their adc when he gets aggressive, and not much else is based off the fact that I know you don't have the damage to go 1v1 with their support until you farm a little more.
