Zyra has the worst passive and here is why

Zyra . . . Zyra is a great champ, don't get me wrong, but...she has the worst passive in the game....

KogMaw Karthus Sion all have passive similar to zyra's but much better. karthus can use** all** his abilities upon death. Sion can do massive damage and still take farm/ towers and even champions upon death. Let's take a closer look at kogmaw's passive ...... kogmaw's passive is a near identical copy of zyra's except her's is a skill-shot and much more unreliable.

KogMaw passive deals a max of 550 true damage at max level. (aoe)*** NOTE: this is NOT a hard to use passive, just run to where the enemy is unless they use a mobility spell...Well thats too bad. Amumu Zyra's passive deals** 440 **true damage. **NOTE, THIS IS A SKILL-SHOT!!! ** why does zyra's passive deal less damage than kogmaw's even though it is a harder ability to use. both passives can deal aoe damage, why does zyra's deal less at a much higher dificulty.

I can see what some of your answers will be... "Well it only takes roughly 2 seconds for zyra to fire her passive, whereas it takes kogmaw 4 seconds" My answer: zyra has to take the time to track the enemy champions movement pattern if they are trying to dodge it, plus they can allways use summoner 4 both passives also have about the same range as well, Kogmaw has higher dmg

SOOO... in the end can somebody explain why Zyra has such a horrible passive? A passive only proq'd upon death? on a champ that needs good positioning? If i made any mistakes feel free to correct me, thanks for reading! Tristana

This is what we call ''Power Budget''.

Her passive is meant to be shitty because the rest of her kit is incredibly strong.

Zilean 's passive is the most useless. At level 18 it does absolutely nothing.

I don't remember when, but someone else made a post about Zyra's passive. I agree with the both of you that it's weak, but they had a really cool buff/passive rework idea to make it better: If Zyra kills the enemy with her passive, the shot keeps flying and roots at the end of its path. After 1.5 seconds, Zyra regrows from the shot with hp equal to the enemy she killed's hp upon being hit and going on a CD so she can't use her passive for x amount of time. (I.E.: If you hit someone with 233 hp for 440 true damage, you come back with 233 hp and you passive goes on CD). I think this would be pretty cool, and if she fails to kill, her passive doesn't go on CD.

Champs sorta in a zyra-esque spot Zilean : Bad kit,bad passive Heimerdinger : His passive is bad but his kit is pretty strong, so balanced Fiddlesticks :Nerfed to death Nunu :Useless passive. His mana costs are really low. If he's jungle blue nullifies it. If he's support, you won't be AAing enough to use it. If you're mid, you'll be harassed everytime you try to cs. But mid is the optimal place to use his passive. While his mana costs are low, his passive would be good if they were: weak abilities, low CD,low mana cost. This passive could be used on something with eve's hate spike for example Taric :strong passive,kit is kinda all over the place Twitch :ow so much damage. basically a worse vayne or worse teemo at this point..

A lot of champs are in a worse or similar spot, and are basically nothing to the likes of the overloaded kits of the new champs

It should buff all of her active plants or something. Make them go into a frenzy upon witnessing their master's demise.

Zyra has the worst passive because you forgot Syndra and Zilean exist.

Syndra: Literally nothing. Her passive is an effect that can literally be baked into her skills without using a passive slot to do it.

Zilean: Literally useless. Oh yea...bonus exp...too bad this champ's destined to feed and there's no decent passive to help deter that.

Fun fact:

with kogmaws passive you can just right click your target and it'll follow the target unless you lose vision ;)
