An actual reply. I like it. I still don't personally like how ahri and zed are able to survive patches without actually getting nerfed though.

I would take a fed Ahri/Zed over a fed Leblanc any day.

maybe ahri but i would defintiely take a fed LB over a fed zed, at least she has mana and no sustain.

Cause she needed it

Technotics1 votes

No.

Vicarious1172 votes

Obviously it's yes, everyone else who commented agrees and even Riot does as well.

Technotics1 votes

You contributing nothing to the conversation by saying only "cause she needed it" makes me think you're uneducated.

Vicarious1172 votes

Quite the leap of assumptions there kid, you need to grow up if that's the first thing you jump to.

And there is nothing more to offer to the conversation anyway, you asked "why did she get nerfed?" and I said "cause she needed it," which is 100% true. Instead of acting all high and mighty like some childish prick maybe try asking a more direct question and you'll get something more out of those of us who don't typically like explaining the obvious to kids who can't see it by simply playing the game.

I would answer any question you asked, but you had to be a dick for some unknown reason. I'm not the one who looks uneducated here, but nice try.

Lots of complaints and LCS play.

Complaints? People bitched daily about lee sin for ages and he's not been touched severely.

Well really she's not been nerfed severely either. In the past yes but no matter what R she uses she loses 10% AP off her burst at most and that's really not "severe". It matters but if Lee Sin lost 10% scaling on any of his abilities people would be shouting about how pointless a nerf that is.

Technotics1 votes

Removing her Silence was a huge blow to her whole kit as a whole and didn't get anything to compensate at all lol. Talon got an insane slow to compensate for his silence removal which still allows him to destroy anyone, faster and safer than leblanc can.

V4.10:

      Sigil of Silence
           Renamed to Sigil of Malice.
         No longer silences.

Granted, 3 patches later she got mana reduced on an ability and another one following the next patch but her base mana is still insanely low, considering it's 334. Especially with early game mana costs on her whole combo anyways.

Oh I agree she's been nerfed in a big way in the past, the silence removal was massive even if she was compensated for it later on. Just saying this nerf in particular is pretty similar to the style of nerf Lee Sin gets, so it's not surprising that community complaints are behind it.

She lost .1 ability power off her burst Boohoo.

Technotics1 votes

Yea, considering it's an actual nerf to her. Zed losing like .50 attack speed isn't a really big nerf considering his build path......

.1 ability dude brah brahhhh its not gonna make a difference since she blows you up late game anyways. Her ap ratio is like 3.7, instead of 3.8 whoopdy fucking doo.

Since when is .1 = to this

Le Blanc

Mimic (R)

Mimicked Sigil of Malice AP ratio lowered to .6 from .65

Mimicked Distortion AP Ratio lowered to .9 from .975

Mimicked Ethereal Chains AP ratio lowered to .6 from .65

Every website I saw it on only said the ap ratio for sigil of malic so one of us is misinformed :P Even if I am the misinformed one that's still only about .1 from each time she uses her ult.

I don't see a LeBlanc nerf in the patch notes.

she can 1 hit almost anyone in the game??? lol

Technotics1 votes

That was her job.. She is an assassin.............................................Except the difference is, she doesn't get survivability in her build path like talon, ahri and zed do. Lifesteal or ahri's passive for example.....

youngjake931 votes

They nerfed the scaling on her ult because it is up every 20 seconds allowing you to one shot someone whenever you want after 3 items. It's a pretty minor nerf though. You lose 12.5 damage before mitigation on your ult W with 500 AP or 50 damage on your ult Q/R after their second proc.

I mean it is only 80 damage lost from the full combo if you have 800 AP and that is before factoring in MR. Considering 800 AP Leblanc can cut 3 members of a backline to less than half health at the same time with only W+ult W, I think LB will be fine.

Funny you should ask. I was about to post a thread asking what LeBlanc's counterplay/weaknesses are. There's a fun story there, involving my first time as Twisted Fate mid and an appalling cs/kda, but I'll save it for another time.

But seriously. She has amazing burst, cc, and a mind-numbing amount of mobility and escape, on top of decent range, good ratios and base damage, and only moderate cds and mana costs. I get that she's an assassin and all, but it is possible to be a little too good at that job.

From Riot's perspective, the answer to your question (I'm sorry to say) is probably something more like, "Well, we're done with Kassadin now." I hope not, though.

Technotics1 votes

then here we have ahri with 3 dashes, insane Q movement speed on a lower cooldown than Leblanc's W, Zed's W, Zed's untargetable, Zed having a survivability build path with QSS, Lifesteal, Mobility boots, bork as an option..I agree that she does her job well but she has to be very ahead to even have any chance of surviving a late game teamfight, and it's very dependent on the team comps.

Though Ahri did get hella nerfed. Her E no longer deals 20% damage on the rest of her abilities, which was a MASSIVE blow to her burst. Don't get me wrong she's a great champ, but she wasn't balanced, so they nerfed her, same with LB.

Enkidusmurf1 votes

Three dashes, but you have to tell Ahri where to go. With LB, you just doubletap your W. You're in and out, and they're dead.

As far as survivability goes, there's sustain and escape. Leblanc lacks the first but has the second in absolutely crazy amounts. It'd almost be funny to watch, if the screen wasn't suddenly in grayscale.

I do see your point with the late game, but a frontline and some cc makes the way pretty safe for her. And, she doesn't have to be there very long. ;)

I'm not going to disagree that Zed and Ahri are a bit cancerous, too. But I think there should be some sort of tradeoff with LeBlanc's mobility and burst.

But hey. At least she's not manaless . . .

If they left her alone after doing what they did to Kassadin, there would be problems.
